  • Hello and Welcome back!!!
Some weeks back I was contacted by #iconicparts from the #UK and they asked me if I would like to review some of their products.
Certainly, I was in for that!
They send me the screen spacers for the original #Multistrada950 screen and one of their GPS Mount brackets.
In my video about the #Touratech touring screen I showed you already the spacers for #aftermarket windscreens.
Now I have to mention, I received the products for free, but I am not paid by Iconic Parts!
What I tell you is my personal opinion on the products shown in the video and I told the Iconic Parts team that it has to be honest!
    Oh - LINKS are below!!!!!
Who does not know iconic parts UK, they make not only for Ducati some aftermarket parts! Check it out, maybe also for your Bike/Brand there is something in the making….

    Back to subject.
As mentioned I tried already the spacers for aftermarket windscreen (which I purchased!!) and was very happy with the result.
I also was asked how are they with the original windscreen.
Well, I would say they work and are kind of a "Game Changer" and yes they make a difference.
So I would say, 30£ is well invested. As you might know I ride with an ADV helmet - peak on!
Screen in the lowest position, you feel some turbulences at above 80 km/h - till that all good. Adjust the windscreen to the higher position and it becomes rather pleasant with very little turbulences.
Certainly, you still have some wind noise, but as we all know, the Scorpion AT950 (ADX-1) is not a very quiet helmet.
One point I have to mention, that is a little downside, or maybe it is just a user error - not sure.
To mount and to assemble is very easy, only challenge was when tighten the spacers to the upper fairing points, there is almost not enough space for the Allen key to fit and I was afraid to scratch the windscreen.
So I shortened one spare Allen key by 5mm and it was easy to tighten.
I also communicated with the Iconic Parts team, that it would be nice to include this key, as it was a little headache in cutting - if you have just simple tools!
And I am sure, we would not mind to pay a Euro or Pound extra.
The other part is one of their GPS Mounts.
Nice sleek design and extremely easy to install!!!!
I tried several mounts (original Ducati and 2 others), but this one beats them all. Fixed with only two screws - can't be easier!
In regards of adjustability you have 3 mounting holes for the screw to fix the GPS plate on the Mount itself, plus 2 holes in the GPS plate.
Plus, the GPS plate itself can be mounted in two ways so you bring it either a bit up or down and certainly easy adjustment of the angle for you!
I managed to use all my accessories that I showed you in some of my previous videos, only challenge was to find fitting mounting screws (you might know how it is if you are moving - within a country or international….).
Overall, I am very happy with the two products and they are a well invested #gadget for your bike.
Be in case of the spacers for the original or the aftermarket windscreen.
I received also the Oil cooler and Radiator guards, just did not have the time to mount both parts - what I noticed, they are well designed and have a very good feel to it (in regards of quality!!!) - soon to follow…..
They have now as well a new Screen bracket developed with winglets as the #MultistradaV4 has…… Very curious about this too……

I’ve been considering these spacers, thanks for the video.

As mentioned I bought the spacers for aftermarket screens from them as I also have the Touratech Touring screen. Such a difference! Riding the spacers in combination with the standard screen, I would have saved the money for aftermarket screens!
      Little worth investment!
      Safe Rides!!!?

Hey spoke, just made a order by iconic parts for the spaders. Have same trouble(s) as well mentioned in the comments and video, as I’m 1m86, hope it will work. Keep you in touch. Greetings from Belgium.

Hi Indna! Great! For me they work great, lately with the original screen. With 183 cm a big improvement.
Looking forward to an updated on the difference that you experience after installing them and certainly riding with them.
      Safe Rides from sunny Dubai!

More great information, thanks. I have the spacers ordered and now need to get a mount for the Zumo xt. Do you prefer the iconic parts mount over the Ducati mount?

      Thank you John!
Well, I tried both the mounts.
The Iconic Parts mount is the easiest to mount. Although the original Ducati mount is easy too.
      Both work very well.
Only point that I think the Iconic Parts mount is better is the screen adjustment is easier to access over the original mount.
      Safe Rides!!!!

hello =) Does the gps mount fit also without the Spacers? or are those needed to install the gps??

The mount is independent from the spacers!

I've ordered the spacers and i'll let you know what I think
It's a shame that Ducati produce a beautiful sounding bike that you can't hear because of the wind noise

      Looking forward to it!!!
That's why there are aftermarket parts to make it better for us and our needs/likes......

10 mins to fit the spacers, noise reduced but still noisy, the noise now is less sharp and more from the bottom of my helmet not around the ears.
I think you would probably get better results the taller you are (I'm 5'10")
Unfortunately there has to be some sort of trade off between noise reduction, looks, cool air flow and wind protection
I suppose if you want to get rid of the noise completely then get a car

@@les2935 I am 6' tall and yes same as you it reduced wind noise, but not too much. The big difference that I feel is buffering is big time reduced.
Ok, i wear a ADV Helmet (Scorpion) with the peak on, so not the quietest of a helmet, thought.
