  • Ducati Multistrada, removing upper fairings, windscreen bracket, installing USB live feed, taking power from switched live under left hand side fairing, installing Evotech Performance bracket and rebuilding bike. There may well be other ways to do this job, however I chose to do it this way to achieve the result I wanted.

Thank you, especially the info on the 12v underneath the left fairing. Saved me ALOT of work :)

You mention live feed and it looked very plug and play. Where did you find the usb cable with that correct connection that plugs into factory harness? Thanks.

The usb cable is an Oxford Products USB Type A 3.0 Amp Charging Kit. The plug you need is on the bike. When you remove the left hand side trim you’ll see a white socket with the plug in it. The plug has two wire tails, pos and neg which you join to the pos and neg wires on the Oxford usb cable. Obviously you’ll have to cut the ring connectors supplied on the usb cable off before attaching the plug. Hope that helps

I purchased a Out Front Bike Mount (Bicycle / Pushbike)
and unbolted it from the bracket. Then bolted it to the Evotech Performance bracket fitted to the bike.

I don't know why you would feed the large USB and and make an unnecessary huge hole when you could've just fish, the small end through the existing hole

      Hi Steve
There’s an in-line transformer on the cable preventing feeding the smaller end of the cable through any existing holes around the dash.

@@TangoCharlie38 In that case I would run A USB A to lightning cable below the cowl

@@TangoCharlie38 I would be happy to. I put an apple car play unit on my multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. and I put the lightning cable through the small hole so I wouldn't have to draw a large hole. Like I said I would have used a short lightning cable and put it through the small hole and tucked all the rest of the wiring underneath. and what good what my video do you now after you've already drilled a huge hole and hacked up your motorcycle? Just curious
