It's all due to upbringing and tarbiyyah we received or didn't receive at home growing up. A proper father figure is crucial in raising real men. Most of us didn't have the correct tarbiyyah and wasn't taught real life skills. Some fathers are good providers but don't have any time or patience to teach their sons how to be men
So take the prophet Muhammad ﷺ as instead of a father role. Try to be less selfish and look for good friends that remind you of his sunna ﷺ and to learn proper conduct from. May Allah make it easy for us
17yo here and as much as i hate to admit, i would fall more or less under the first category. Not too late rn to begin learning though.

You will not be able to decipher. Men can be very deceiving if we want a certain girl so badly. We will lie and put on a face just to marry the girl, by the time she finds out, its too late. Best thing is to leave it to Allah and just tell your daughter to pray Istikhara. If someone is not suitable for your daughter, Allah's qadr will force you signs or put obstacles that will make it very hard to marry the guy. Allahu Alam.
The best candidate would be a guy whom you and your husband knows. It could be someone she grew up with or if you have a son maybe his friends. Because I married my friends sister and I got married at the age of 23 and now I’m 32 almost 10yrs with my wife and it’s still a blessing. Also the guy has to be on his deen meaning at least finished the Quran reading and spent some time learning deen from shiekhs. And is also good to his parents

There is some study that has shown (i once read in a book), Girls tend to accept husbands that are similar to their fathers. Perhaps because of a sense of familiarity and upbringing. So please girls choose wisely. My ex-husband later started to get up for Fajr after twenty years of marriage, Finish two Qurans in Ramadan but not be nice to me but oppress me.

The Prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam would clean and help at home. He would see to his needs himself rather than demanding his wife. He would clean and see to his clothing himself.
Without being asked, if the couple help each other in day to day activities, it will make one appreciate the other. Likewise, one should try his best not to demand his/her spouse to do things too much. Whatever one can do himself, he should do. We need to be considerate of the spouse. The wife works tirelessly all day. So if the husband was to be considerate and realize his wife works hard, this will touch the wife. Likewise, if the wife was to go out of her way to see to the needs of her husband being considerate, it will induce a great spark of love between the two.

I believe everyone planned the best for our marriage, a man normally will sacrifice everything to get the best for her wife, for me even my marriage only last for a month and few weeks, I always redha on the Qada Qadar on Allah SWT have planned.

There’s no single “thing” you can do to “transform”. It’s not a binary thing, where you take a pill and you become a man overnight, lol.

Assalam O Alaikum brother. I have also had this problem. I still have it but to lesser degree. The thing that I realized and start to work toward is that western/modern societies are very 'pampering' you have everything you need etc. and this is very unnatural. In older times men were created out of hardship and tough circumstances i.e. from very young age they had to go out and put food on the table or had important responsibilities etc. so what helped me is one must try to push ourself into the 'real world' start a side business. start dealing with people go out and find people to help. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. One idea maybe to even go to ur local mosque and try to join the commitee that runs the mosque affairs try to take responsibility anywhere you can where u have to face the real world and real issues. Going to gym and exercising is important and all but that will not make you a 'man' in the context we are talking about. we see so many non muslim im gym with huge bodies but inside they are boys. This is where becoming a firm strong man with standards and morals come in hand, you can simply go train jujitsu and firmly state that you will not roll with other females, you can train in the same place as them but make it clear that you won’t be rolling with them or doing any kind of physical training with them. You will probably get looks and people calling you a sexist or many names but you shouldn’t care about what the creation say and only care about the Creator Allah عز وجل
Don’t let something like that stop you from training mma, people will even respect you even more when they see how strong you are standing by your morals and religion.

I don't agree with "not a real/enough man because of not praying Qiyaam/Tahajjod" . Qiyaam/Tahajjod is highly recommended as we all know, but after all it is Sunnah/Nafil and not obligatory to consider someone "not enough man" because of not praying Qiyaam/Tahajjod . Kindly take this part out .

I love ur content but this one is not good cuz all 4 can just be in 1 or in 2 Persons . it's really not that complicated. and you can be a good husband without having to do these extra sunnah things and without even having a beard, and without even waking up for qiyaam, etc etc.....and miss me with this 'he knows how to please a women blah blah'. its not hard to please a woman sexually. sure some men may have a problem, but if there is a problem its more likely cause is the women, simply because the sexual passed of the modern woman has more effect of the female than on male.
