    1:52 Yormark is a genius. He’s gonna be the commissioner of the top conference once they all become basketball-only. 😂

    Resist the destruction of CFB.
    Boycott SEC and B10

      The Big 12's only other choice is to have a buyout of college sports by the United States Congress with controls of the FCC with the media rights.

    Cfb is irreparably broken. It’s so sad how people let it get to this point. Giving power to the conferences and taking it away from the NCAA was the death knell

    • @roris5882
      @roris5882 Před měsícem

      The NCAA did that to themselves because they were incompetent by allowing the greedy universities to take advantage of their players for 100+ years, by using them as a source of cheap slave labor, until the courts told them it was illegal. They chose to sit on their hands and do nothing, instead of being proactive.

    Profit and the realities of NIL/Coaching Salaries Arms race guarantees that the single super conference idea is dead on arrival. BIG/SEC schools simply have too many incentives to centralize power/money in their respective conferences. I agree, this talk of one super conference is wishful thinking of those outside looking in.

    The big10 and sec would make more money if they each got to 24 teams and broke away with the top 48 brands. They have no reason to share their piece of the pie with the bottom 30 or so teams.

    • @yellowmartian
      @yellowmartian Před měsícem +1

      Actually they would make more money if they shed some of their teams. They need to shed Illinois, NW, Indiana, Rutgers, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Miss St, South Carolina, Arkansas, and UCLA. Then add Clemson, ND, FSU, and Miami. Then they need to merge to create a Fox/ESPN mega conference where every week is OSU/Mich or Bama/Auburn.

      @mikef3896 Před měsícem +1

      @@yellowmartian I agree, shedding some of those teams would be good. I think 48 of the biggest brands would be a good number though, not too many and enough to keep the schedules interesting

    • @roris5882
      @roris5882 Před měsícem +7

      @@yellowmartian How is shedding those large flagship state universities, with large alumni and large loyal fan bases, more profitable? There is a reason why most of the bottom feeders in the B1G and SEC are still valuable for the TV networks. The goal for a Super League is to maximize the viewership while cutting out the dead weight, who can't pull their own weight financially.

    • @kylewilson2819
      @kylewilson2819 Před měsícem +1

      @@roris5882 Yet teams like OSU and WSU, who have done more with less than arguably anyone in the country, are penalized for no reason. The bottom line is that you need to offer teams a path. If a "Super League" forms and unilateraly starts removing/excluding teams, then that is grounds for an anti-trust lawsuit. Remember, the US Courts have repeatedly ruled against leagues like the NBA and NFL for prohibiting outside teams from competing with them, so there is precendent.

    • @roris5882
      @roris5882 Před měsícem +1

      @@kylewilson2819 I like the relagation system in the 80 Team model but I think 80 teams is too many to get the B1G and SEC to agree to it because anything past 50 for the TV Networks is dilutive. So they may have to compromise to have about 50 teams locked in the Super League and maybe 8 or 10 teams that qualify for relegation.

    Even if the super league comes to be that not going to stop the law suits, what about the other sports there is not enough money around to feed all those sports, the super league hasn't given a est. on how much money they are talking about, will it match the Big Ten and SEC make.

    How will the proposed league help with the back pay issues?
    And please can we stop comparing CFB to the NFL? A 130 team NFL will be no easier to govern and manage than a 130 team CFB is!
    There is no comparison between CFB and NFL! So trying to implement NFL style management in CFB will never work.

      @ScottPilgrim1919 LOL! You said the Big 12 was dead in 2021. Then, from 22-23 you said no PAC schools would join the Big 12.
      You've been wrong about everything, at every turn. 😂

  • @Live_Free_or_Die_a_KSU_Wildcat

    This dude thinks and talks in circles. The only thing he said is to blame the academics in charge. Duh - who runs the schools that make up the conferences… he just wasted 12 minutes of my life saying the same thing six different ways.
