Come and find us on Facebook for more great project ideas and inspiration.
I know this is an older video, but I just started sewing and I absolutely lost it when she said “Don’t forget to put the pressure foot down, the machine really doesn’t like it….” I’m so glad that it’s not just a me thing 😂😂 like obviously this person has been sewing for a while and it’s still something she has to remind herself of 😂
I've been sewing on a machine since I was about 9 I reckon, and I still forget the stupid little things. My other favourite is forgetting that I've not even threaded up the machine till I reach the end of the *really tricky* seam 😂 It's worse when I'm filming because my mind is on what I'm going to do next, not on what I'm doing at the time, c x
Chopsticks work real well for poking the corners out.
I can't wait to get started on making this bandana. So simple, clever and nicely done!
I have been watching bandana videos for hours and am so pleased to have come across yours! I love the idea of the extra straps, and with your great instructions I might give it a go myself!
I can't say how much I loved this tutorial, very soothing and informative all at once ♥️
Soothing and informative! Love it ;-) c x
Fantastic, easy and clear instructions. Made 2 today for my fur babies.
this is lovely - your instructions are so clear, your delivery is so soothing and the finished product is gorgeous. thank you for sharing your knowledge and process with us! ❤️
Ah, thank you, c x
I love this video! Great idea as alternative to a square. Clear directions and could see, hands not in the way. Thank you
When you were doing the straps/ties, I was shouting 'knitting needle', glad to see you do do it after all :)
Lindas bandanas!!! Amei, obrigada por compartilhar conosco😘
Thank you love this video always coming back for a refresh every time.
I loved this video! I'll be making my pup some bandanas! Thank you for sharing.
I am making a bunch of these for a dog rescue group and this pattern is PERFECT! We use them for the dogs to wear at adoption events, in colours that match the sweatshirts that volunteers wear. Thanks heaps for a great explanation!
So glad it helped Sharon. My beautiful dog is a rescue so all your help for your group is much appreciated, c x
We foster dogs in Puerto Rico before they fly to NY, NJ, Maine, to be adopted. It's a beautiful experience. I already cut the different size patterns but don't know how long to make the ties for the different sizes
Thank you for making a video easy to follow & without any unanswered instructions.. thank u!
Thank You for the clear and simple instructions.
love this look for a bandana!! Way to be creative!
Thank you so much for sharing. I made my first one today. I am going to give it to my foster pup new parents.
That's a lovely idea Penelope, c x
Thank you for a wonderfully informative tutorial! I'm new to sewing and I'm learning from my sister-in-law and now from your channel :) I purchased an easy to use Brother sewing machine but I'm still a bit intimated since I'm mostly a hand sewer. This is an easy project I think I could accomplish on my own. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Glad you like it, and I'm sure the more you play around with your new machine the more confident you'll get, c x
Love this! My 8 year old wanted to make dog bandanas to sell and this is by far the easiest tutorial I found for her to follow. The simple tips for newbies were really helpful to her as well (like not pulling on the fabric, and not sewing with your presser foot up). Thank you!
I'm so glad she could follow it. Wish her luck with her new business! c x
How is her business going?
Oh my gosh I loved the intro, if your dog has no shame like mine 😂 I loved it. & I’m so excited to make these for my dog 🐕
My dog really has no shame. He unabashedly sniffs peoples pockets (and crotches) in the hunt for treats. He also barks really loudly in my ear when I'm driving and we pass an interesting looking dog! c x

Due to the evil covid19, I am making a mask for my friend's 22 yr old daughter who is mad about her dog. This doggie bandana will be a PERFECT complement to her mask She lives in Manhattan so definitely needs something to cheer her up. Thank you.

What a great tutorial, thank you!
Thank you so much for this. I'm about to embark (pardon the pun) on making 50 of these for my local shelter in fluro yellow. ADOPT ME + shelter logo will then be printed on. This pattern is perfect and the straps look so classy. I use the pointy end of a chopstick to push through to get a precise "point".
That's a lovely thing to do. I have a rescue dog so thank you for this, c x
I FREAKIN LOVED THIS! I WILL USE THIS METHOD!
Hi from Australia. I made a bear stuffing stick which makes a great strap turner from a wooden chopstick which I sharpened slightly with a pencil sharpener, but not pointy shap. I enjoyed your tutorial thank you

This can be so versatile and I made one for my dog and now I am making one for my friends cat😁
Great video! Was hoping to see how you put on the pom pom trim though.
Ha! I AM WATCHING IN MARCH!!!
See? I'm psychic!!! c x
You have such a skill. Your teaching style is wonderful. Enjoyed your video. Can you show how to attach a border?
Thank You
Thank you, glad you liked it. We wont reflim the video now but a pompom border is easily attached with a line of small running stitch. Simply pin the braid 5mm up from the hem and ensure you turn under about 1cm at the end of the trim to prevent it fraying, c x
thank you very much for share this video
Thanks a lot! 🌸🌸
