6:06 EXACTLY. And THATS why people loved this show. You don’t watch it for the story. You watch it for the characters interacting, the mind games, and the shit Patrick does to solve cases. And the viewer trying to figure out the cases themselves. I loved this show
The group is what makes this series. This is a fun episode & shows you a lot about Patrick. He wins a cool 1/2 million dollars and spends it on other people.
I remember rewatching Mentalist for the 10th time and wishing someone was making reactions to it. And now there you are. I'm so happy, I can't even explain :P
Yup, Kimble Cho is always serious... Which means the times when he does smile are all the more appreciated. The simple enjoyment he gets from a toy dinosaur...

From my experience in Vegas yes there are no windows and no clocks once you leave the main entrance.

Watched this so many times I know most episodes by heart, but keep on coming back. Like MASH. Or Smallville. Or Justified. Or Lucifer in more modern times. It's so well written and acted. Love it.🥰

As for him not sleeping, it is probably an aversion to money gained through deceitful means. He used to be rich by tricking people and while, as he said, he got that money by using his natural and honed skill, he probably still feels not right about having it. That's also why he can sleep at the end of the episode after having given away what he won playing poker to the dealer with the sick mother.
