Literally the most unrecognizable picture of Huberman in the thumbnail. Nice job, Nadav.
😂
It took me seeing this comment to realize
He is killing the age game.
When Doc Hub says he likes to drink a tequila, Bert heard "tequila isn't bad for you"
1:49 “Boom”
Exactly what he heard!
No, Bert heard "Tequila is good for you"
"Stop drinking so much tequila!"
"ITS DOCTOR RECOMMENDED!!!"
Laughed so hard
Currently two months alcohol free. I don’t feel like I’m dying anymore.
How much were you drinking before? When I hear people say they quit thinking I have to assume they didn't have the willpower to control it and it was a problem. I drink maybe 3-4 beers per week, for taste. Why would I ever quit that? Do people really have that little control over it that it consumes their life? I just don't understand the lack of willpower.
@@carado1984 I’d say if you’re at 3-4 beers a week, it’s not a problem. It’s actually a really healthy drinking habit compared to the rest of the drinking work.
I’d consider my willpower strong, but alcohol is no joke. I would consume at my peak 8-9 IPA style beers (High ALC) a night. It just made me feel numb which made dealing with pain easier, both emotional and physical.
Congrats bro. 18 months and same 😊
@@carado1984 Honestly I don't understand how you don't understand the lack of willpower? Peoples brains are different(differences in frontal lobe development), people have different upbringings. Some people have experienced more traumatic shit, or currently experiencing events take place in their life which makes them more susceptible to addiction. On top of that people have different responses to alcohol, Andrew Huberman does a pretty good job in his podcast explaining how about 10% of people have the genetics that result in a sharp rise and decline in dopamine when drinking. He could explain it much better if you are curious.
That's awesome! One day at a time.
He didn’t hit the positives. It makes you smarter, a better driver, smoother with women. Also makes you ten feet tall, bulletproof and invisible.
That has a name: delusion.
Good luck with all of that
This guy doesn’t get the joke
@@dilldyl yep, missed it and went the other way , but it is still true for all those lunk heads
Also gives you a British accent and a license to kill.
Andrew Huberman and Jordan Peterson can really ruin a good weekend.
In exchange for an awesome life 😅
@@alexrosario423 I think both of them would agree that a good weekend is part of an awesome life.
@@alexrosario423 - yeah booyyyiii!
Bert knowing what Andrew was going to say and then being legitimately surprised when he heard it
Bert - “you’re so good at sharing information. I don’t listen to any of it or apply it to my life at all but what you say is great”
Unexpected crossover, but a welcome one.
All these clips of Burt justifying his raging alcoholism are going to be super sad at his celebration of life in a few years
Ya bro is on a death path I hope he can change for sake of his daughter and wife
Someone needs to straight up tell him your wife is going to a widow and your kids fatherless because you think it’s funny to be a super unhealthy, koolaid instead of wager drinking, alcoholic instead of taking it seriously and either getting help or atleast admitting to it and taking it seriously as in getting things in order for you to die in the best way possible so the family’s outcome is best.
And I love this dude his comedy is gold!
We never saw it coming... wait, yes we did.
More sad he has a friend like Tom milking it for internet content and money which is the whole premise of their podcast. To pull stories out of Bert and showcase how crazy his behavior is for money. Great friendship
Couldn't tell who was struggling more here- Tom to get a word in edgewise or Bert's liver & gut screaming from within to listen to the words this man was saying from above
I just had a 5 day drinking binge into the late hours for my holiday. Now I got horrible insomnia and anxiety.. apparantly its called hangxiety and its horrible.
Alcohol is absolute poison
And yet u'l do it again. Best of luck
Dude I would die. I can barely drink a few without feeling horrible. 5 days would kill me
The alcohol induced anxiety is tough man. The reason I've almost completely quit alcohol. And when I drink (once or MAX twice a month) I make sure to not do it on consecutive days.
@@ilikecommenting6849 yeah im gonna do that now too. that was horrible
That one sentence was an emotional rollercoaster for Bert
Once you become a pickle, you can never become a cucumber again.
Huberman Labs is my new favourite
Lol! I love Dr. huberman. My friends are also sick of me talking about how I live by his advice.
Andrew is such a gentleman.
Great clip. 3 of my favorite people.
they're all strangers and one of them is a doctor. find some real people to look up to
@@jeccdog7584 it's all a fantasy. Like football.
My Aries brethren. Thomas, I always knew that you had the fire in you. Keep up the great work and continue exercising. Bert, stop drinking…
I'm so glad Andrew and Tom have met. Me and my wife say they look similar and we would call Andrew "Science Tom Segura". Must be their related Argentine ancestry
this is the crossover I really didn't expect...
I sub to that guy’s channel, dudes legit I love him
Now ask him about kool aid
Love huberman
I smoke weed with Johhny Hopkins and Sloan Kettering and we blazed that shit up every day!!!
Shoutout to Hubermans barber
I just like hearing the words endocrine organ and peptides.
"thank you for your interest in science " 🇦🇺💪
This is the "Wait how do you guys know each other?" of podcast clips...the answer is always Joe Rogan
from this 5:24min ..pretty sure Bert get a good 48 seconds from all said by the Doc 😂
You do NOT get a green recovery every time you drink tequila, Bert! Lies! 😂
I’m actually getting tired of the idiocy of Bert. Tom Carry’s him.
Tom saved Bert From a Whooping from the Woop company
40 drinks a week doesn’t sound as bad as 28 drinks a week
That's a long ass sentence andrew 🤣🤣🤣
people nowadays sleep on Dr. Drew. Not taking away anything from this good Doctor, but Dr. Drew was doing this exact thing plus doing marriage and sex counseling like 22 years ago on FM radio in California making probably like minimum wage. Loveline was the best.
Dr. Drew has a great podcast with YMH studios. I wasn't around to hear his FM stuff but I'm glad to have found him now.
Such a strange thing that they don't see, alcoholics, that they are, will be, fine until they are not fine.
They can survive sorta fine up until the liver konks out or they run into a telephone pole. And most all alcoholics fall off the cliff quickly and croak. How do they not see what happens to the others?
This makes me want a shot
Bert’s like cool, cool, cool, oh yea I hear ya, yea. Damnnn i could use a tito’s and soda right now. Lol
2 beers, 1 case
I was a bouncer in AlaskaFor a decade.I’ve seen so much horrible stuff associated with booze. Some fun but a truckload of bad.
Why is Bert someone that gets personal access to Andrew Huberman…. What a waste…
How so
Daddy Huberman letting the guys down easy.
I’m starting to feel the effects of alcohol lol I’m forgetting shit
Bert literally tuned out everything the doctor said until the comment about the tequila and lime. Unbelievable.
Me and Brent have the same phone
I’ve never seen him without a beard!! He looks like a completely different person wow
My Keto diet makes alcohol 2x stronger which is a lot of fun, but it stops me burning fat while I burn the alcohol off that causes me to feel malnourished after a few nights of drinking
Same. Blessing and a curse.
I have a feeling Bert is overdoing it
It was nice knowing you Bert
"Well i believe they exist" 😝
If you ever want to see a grown man's soul get crushed.....
Well I believe they exist 😂😂😂😂
Bert only heard what he wanted to from Andrew
And the lying was next level too. Always crazy to watch an alcoholic bend reality for their addiction
And yet Bert still thinks he’s impervious…
I really like Bert. His "Shtick" is so hard for me to watch now. He's not going to be around much longer unless he changes some things. It makes me sad. He doesn't realize he's an incredible talent enough. He doesn't need the shirt off routine. I think most his fans would feel the same way. It'd be so awesome to see him take his shirt off and he's totally jacked.
Not going to be around much longer? Nonsense.
@@sparksdrinker5650 ... says the guy with “drinker” in his (her/they/zxem?) profile name bc they think drinking, which literally anyone can do, is the same thing as a personality
Same. His shtick is basically that of a first year college chick who loves, like, getting TOTALLY wasted, and going whoooo! It was sorta funny the first time, and “the machine” is funny, but he just refuses to evolve and, honestly, grow up. Fat, drunk guys just don’t last in comedy. I hope he proves us wrong
@@evergray5063 Swing and a miss. And Bert isn't dying any time soon so Steven can relax too
Whomever designed the thumbnail, why use an unrecognizable photo of the good Dr.
Thats actually a great question from Brett. The response…squeaky, and predictable.
huberman = handsome segura
Tom Segura- your the funniest podcast commentator EVER EVER EVER, I've seen every podcast your on or you host
Bert pronounces sentence "sennance"
Nadav, you did Dr. Huberman dirty
Yeah Bert. . You will not be free from what you are doing to your body . Eventually all them drinks are going to come cashin!
Feel better!
Tom looks so skinny. You love to see it.
Win
So funny Bert said huberman has one of the best podcast but he drinks an outstanding amount every day and none of the stuff he does offsets that
For real I can't watch Bert anymore because he's gonna kill himself with his life style. My mom passed from liver and kidney failure from alcoholism. Last thing she ever said to me was "Stupid selfish choices, I'm sorry" I wish Bert would take it more seriously because he is a great human and fucking hilarious.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him fuck it.
Same, but for my Mom it was cigarettes. I can't be around or hang with anyone who smokes.
That was a really long sentence
2 drinks per day. 14 per week.
Thats the standard for moderate drinking.
But in my 20's, I'd easily down 30 beers a week. By my late 20's, I felt the effects. These days I just stick with weed and the occasional LSD strip.
14 drinks per week isn't healthy. That is outdated information. I used to think this was normal and safe too until I watched Andrew Huberman's podcast about alcohol. People who drink "moderately" by this definition have significantly worse health than those who dont drink.
That's a long ass sentence bro🤣
As much as the data might be true. Id rather die having fun and having some drinks than being straight edge as a razor limiting to 1-2 drinks a week. As a college student me and many others vould give a shit about science at this point… Lmaoo
We all gotta die from something 🤷🏽♂️🤣
I used to work picking up Inuit drunkards in the street so they wouldn't die of cold... Sad shit really.
The Dark Side Of Comedy: The Rise of The Machine
you guys should give a bunch of whoops away....:)
hilarious
Of course bert would restrict the doctor to saying one sentence about alcohol
Got it do all drugs I can doc
Its ridiculously sad how bad of an alcoholic bert is always trying to justify partying like a college kid and destroying his body.
1 to 2 drinks a week??? What the fuck dude...
Who the fuck is in the thumbnail and where is Andrew huberman
First
Getting wasted is so lame and out of style. We all getting fit and happy now
The joke is… Bert has been told this before. Many many many times.
Alcohol is the anesthetic by which men endure the pain of existence.
I average 4,380 drinks per year. That's been consistent for about 15 years. So call it 65,000 drinks so far. Blood pressure is normal, liver count is normal, weight is 155lb at 6'. I do have crappy joints, a terrible memory for events (but I'm still sharp on facts and figures), and pretty severe psoriasis.
Booze keeps me relatively happy. I've never been fired or even talked to at a job over my drinking, and I've never been in a car accident except when I was dead sober.
I did recently seek help for depression, but I was honest about my drinking, and couldn't get anything prescribed unless I got dead sober. Being that I drink to self medicate for depression, that's a bridge too far for some pills that may or may not work, or might have disastrous results, since psychiatric medicine is more trial and error than it is actual science.
So it's very likely I'll drink until the day I die, and I'm ok with that.
You are also missing out on a great number of possible friends. Most people see a hard drinker and bail on that.
@@Bubbles99718 I think that has less to do with the amount of alcohol you consume and more to do with the type of person you are when you drink. If someone doesn't want to be your friend purely because you enjoy getting drunk, that person is probably a judgmental asshole (unless they're in recovery or something).
You know the alcohol is probably causing your depression a lot more than helping it. Alcoholism can make it seem like its “making you happy” in the moments that your body is getting the thing it’s dependent on but in reality it’s probably the thing making life suck all the rest of the time.
Aye man, I spent a year having a similar consumption as you but it was due to partying. Looking back, it was absolutely fucking horrible! My drinking would give me anxiety the following day and the only way to cure it would be drinking and women. There were days I'd start drinking as soon as I woke up. This was about 2-3 years ago. I still drink but it's always a celebration and no more than twice a month and never consecutively. My life is sooooo much better for it. Just losing the anxiety alone was worth it. But I got way more productive, made more money as a result and am no longer destructive with the people close to me.
If I had an enemy, I'd send them a lifetime of their favourite booze.
Alcoholic trying to find everyway to make his alcoholism ok so he can keep drinking, he's a functioning alcoholic
Bert is sad stop drinking and get healthy or get on drugs
The fact that Bert’s family and friends have not had an intervention with him just proves how much they either don’t care about him or they benefit too much financially from him to “rock the boat”. He is clearly killing himself and no one is saying shit.
Yup. It's not cute or funny. It's just flat out denial. Same deal with Swardson. It's sad.
Calmn down. He's fine. He's not drinking very day Chad.
@@RP-ue9wy pretty sure he said he drinks 18 shots a night, everyday.
@@mahtinown-eelya, he never said that.
@@RP-ue9wy Bert’s appearance on Conan where he discussed the impetus for Sober October, he spoke about accidentally being honest with his friends about how much and how often he drank. hes not a physician tho
So?
@@jt7980 practicing medicine is different from just knowing science. i love this guy, but brotein, he says some unreliable stuff. sooo don't let this man distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table.
@@MultiJrcastro very true. I was just pointing out the apparent argument of authority. That is to say, a theory stands alone and is not effected by the person who theorized it. I child can sit ont the truth, does not matter that it is a child.
Huberman didn't even talk about weed other than saying it was a sCheDuLe 1 nArCoTiC lol which is wild cuz it objectively has more actual medical applications than all the psychedelics and empathogens combined if you actually look at research from other countries that allow that kind of research on a wider scale.
Yes but it also has many dangerous side effects, especially when used at a young age. There’s some good research that shows not only the induction of psychosis, schizophrenia, and bi polar in those that are pre disposed but also those with no family history. I love weed and it does help a lot of people but let’s not kid ourselves it is still not 100% safe. Weed addiction is real and I’ve seen countless people both change and waste their lives by being high 24/7. Again not anti weed at all but I think it’s important that we look at it objectively.
I love these guys & love Dr Huberman but a crossover, eh, why is he doing this? I’d rather not have these worlds collide
You do NOT get a green recovery every time you drink tequila, Bert! Lies! 😂
