Does it matter if it's a 3s or 2s battery I've seen other videos on this and it just smokes the modular. On the modular the white stripe is positive correct?
No I don't think it matters, in my experience it has gone through many 3s lipo batteries and it is still working great. So I think you are fine with running a 3s battery, also what white wire on the module are you talking about? I only see black and red wires.
@@kennethp1152 I don't have an answer to that question, I wish I could help you, but I can't because I don't have the pro lighting kit. I could send you a video link to someone else's how to, if you would like. But at this moment I don't have a video of the pro light kit yet, I do plan to make one, but it might be a while (sometime in the future).
Thnx for the how to. So I assume the new Pro Light Kit will just behave the same way. Nice explanation 🤙
Probably I don't know though, sense it is a different box, but I bet you it is.
👍

Don't know if your still active. But I tried this and my went up in smoke.... any ideas ?
The wires might have accidentally touched each other and created a short.
what about the brake lights etc..?
The non pro light kit doesn't have brake lights or turn signals, just tail lights. Are you trying to wire in the pro light kit?
@@rcandlegos how would you go about wiring the pro light kit with brake lights and turn signals

@@rcandlegos id love to see if it can be done ! Looking forward to that
I tried to do that, but I'd didn't work.
What can I do?
Check if there is voltage in the output of the light kit box on the chassis. Please let me know if it does or doesn't.
If it doesn't make sure their is power to the box from the battery.
If there is than make sure there is a signal coming from the receiver, if so then your light kit box is probably bad.
@@rcandlegos thank you, the problem was a bad welding between 2 cables.
I fixed it and now is works perfectly.
Very useful video!
Thank you! Glad you got it figured out!
What is the plug part number
The part number for the red connectors are PTK-5010. If you are wanting the other plug part number, both plugs are in the description.
