The reason is that these beys are season 1 beys. Burst season 1 half of the beys looked similar except with some bumps while in X the design is the prettiest and the most unique for the first generation of a new generation. So I have ti disagree with you if we’re talking in the current situation.
I'm not seeing the uniqueness from Gen 1 Beyblade X Beys except for Phoenix Wing. Will we see more beys like this, or was it just a one-off? Beyblade UX is bringing a little more style at least.
That's exactly why i love x. With burst honnestly they are so different sometimes its hard to say that they are part of the same line. But with x we saw that it's the same game with the overall based look and few details changing that ' s what i think it's awesome because when they do metal coat beys etc, these "rares beys" really pops
We Can't really say this bey is special or rare for burst unless we know burst.

But i also love burst beys in term of design i think we will never see something as detailed in x

Personally, I really like Beyblade X. I actually could identify quite a few of the x beys in that pile just at a glance, and I'm not even too familiar with X yet. Burst battles always just felt a little underwhelming to me and it felt like the beys were trying too hard to look the different to the point that (imo) they didn't really look or feel like Beyblades anymore.
Well, yeah. They are easier to identify when they are not moving, but it just seems like they lack personality.
I have to disagree with this one, dude. Beyblade Burst kicked off with some flaws like the breakage issue with Victory Valkyrie being so severe that Takara Tomy had to update the layer’s mold to reinforce the wings. And battles usually are kinda dull and slow. And it’s not just the toyline, but the anime aswell with it’s numerous cliche breakage and upgrades. Beyblade X’s anime is still airing so I really can’t say yet. But the irl battles are rather quicker due to the Xtreme Dash feature. And I like how they brought back the Metal contact points too. Fyi, I liked Beyblade Burst, but it got worse for every new season to a point where it became stale, and redundant.
Agree that Burst was getting stale and was ready for a change, but are X Beyblades a step forward or just a re-hashed past with some tweaks?
Let me cook for a sec, beyblade x is a brand new generation that started from zero it only inherits the bit chips design from plastic generation, metal contacts from metal fight and of course the burst gimmick it has all the best parts of each generation and unfortunately you can only fit so much into a single system and the thing that x lacks so far is the colour and unique blade designs which you seem to have the biggest problem with and I see your point but if they make the contact points and designs like burst than it would be extremely fragile since the beys hit so hard and spin so fast which is something that Takara took note of that's why only now are we getting more simple designs instead of the artistic style that was burst layer system

The first anime for Beyblade burst was a tiny bit interesting but this is just unbelievably horrible

Imma go on a rant here so hear me out...
I think beyblade burst is by FAR the WORST generation of beyblade. Not only is the gameplay boring, but the way the beys lock together and how they work overall is utterly awful, on top of that, the anime is equally as bad, being repetitive, boring and having awfully constructed characters. And I find the beys themselves to be ugly, to the point were i'd say only like 3 or 4 of them max. The biggest problem I have with their designs is they're too tacky and all over the place, even with the single layers, which try to do more than they should and end up failing horribly. I don't feel like they actually have personality, to me they look like over designed blobs of plastics with flames and spike all over. Meanwhile, bakuten, mfb and X are all on the simpler side, with designs that flow and merge together cohesively and actually have personality through the emblems of the beasts they represent, with subtle hints scattered throughout the design. And once you become familiar with the beys, it's really easy to tell them apart in a battle (at least when they're not moving at 300km/s).
TL.DR: Burst beys are ugly and slow. The beys in the other gens have more personality and beauty, with the added bonus of being much more quick, explosive and fun.
