Your content is peak. I love how you understand the core of beyblade x and what really matters. Not cool battles with basic launching and basic battles. But the technicalities involved in this new version. Your content deserves more for what it brings to the beyblade community. Keep grinding.

It's so refreshing to hear someone talk about using the combos you like rather than what everyone else is using. To me, that's what Beyblade is about. In the anime, Bird learned something very important that every blader IRL should learn: everyone has their own way to Beyblade, and the best way to battle is to do it as yourself instead of copying others. That's how you'll find your true strength.
One thing that I hate about tournaments is when everyone is using the same combo because that's the "best" combo. We saw it during Burst with Lord Spriggan, now we're seeing it again with Wizard Rod. It's boring when everyone is using the same combos all the time. Battling with the beys you like most is what makes Beyblade fun.
Thank you for this video, Nizuma. It makes "go against the grain" Bladers like me very happy.
Btw, my favorite combo currently is HellsHammer 3-70F. It does decently well against Wizard Rod on both Hexa and Ball and I think I can make it even better if I follow your advice. My other favorite combo is HellsChain 9-60O, which is fairly easy to use against most opponents.

This is kinda what I've been doing. My main combo has been dranbuster 1-60 rush. It sounds like a boring basic combo, but I've been extreme tilt launching on the meta wizard rod build. Basically, fishing for an extreme upper attack, and using rush because it has less grip at that near 45 degree I'm launching at. I got it now to where i can accurately aim the blade from either side of the stadium, and it smacks -hard-. Sometimes i go for the head on downward smash just for that early hit against attack, and it works relatively well... It's mostly just down to knowing positioning, power, and whether i want upper strike or a downward smash.
Great vid, such a true thing. Competitive is more than just using the same combo and pulling as hard as possible

Hells chain is my favorite blade to use in Beyblade X. As for the combo, I always mess around with different parts, it does surprisingly well with 3-60 and Ball, I sometimes make it defensive with either High needle or Gear needle, however, 5-60 Gear Point is also good since it allows Chain to perform counterattacks, I'm normally a Defense guy but in this generation, Defense types are tough to work with, however, balance types are my favorites in this generation

Very nice video dude. The skill side of Beyblade is often overlooked. Not just launch strategies but deck order and performance under pressure as well. Knowing your match ups, knowing the bladers in your scene. These are all things competitors should consider. Combo building is often looked at as the only contributing factor. It’s important but if it’s the only thing you worry about you won’t do well consistently at competition. Very nice dude 🤙🏽

In MD I host weekly Beyblade tournaments through the WBO. We are very competitive and you can see the players that have consistency in winning/topping. These are players that really examine the game well not just in the combos that work well but also their launching techniques. Beyblade X definitely has increased the amount of skill needed to do well consistently. Some people still think if you just yeet the bey they will win with the Xtreme dash gimmick and that definitely is not the case. Sure it can work once in a while if you have a really lucky day. But our weekly tournaments have proven that strategy will not work in your favor the majority of the time.

I can’t wait for WPN events to start rolling. We really need prize support and some sort of regionals structure, but I think this game could take off. It would be perfect for the “Under 13” demographic that Wizards of the Coast always wants to garner, but can never stick (See: Duel Masters, Kaijudo, and their fumbling of Pokemon). It’s perfect because it’s not a TCG, and thus won’t hurt their Magic sales. Instead its a secondary avenue, toys.
I am LOVING Talon Ptera 9-60 Rush in the Hasbro format right now.

My favorite is a stock Shark Edge 3-60Lf. It was my first X beyblade and it's just cool that's just just...sharknado, the beyblade.
I want to get a Dran Buster and Cobalt Dragoon....but just so that I can stick their respective bit and ratchet on my precious shark.
I think my ideal combos are...
Shark Edge 2-60 A (Oh god, the SHARKNADO is ON THE TRAIN! I want a shark edge that throws itself onto the rail a lot)
Shark Edge 1-60 Q (weird off-balance attacker? does it jump a lot? Can I reorient the ratchet to make it thrash around?)
Shark Edge 3-60 MN (more metal and a thin point...maybe it'll be a cool counter-hit defender with that heavy slams?)
Also I kind of feel like it's special. Shark Edge, apparently, is weirdly hard to get in the states, so that it was my first beyblade makes me want to use it even more. I'm gonna paint it more once I find a red paint pen to make the gills shine.

This is why I also disagree with the whole idea of the "limited" list. Especially down here in Melbourne where using Rod has almost become a hindrance because most of us have practiced against and know how to deal with it. Even in Burst the former Melbourne champion was known for beating top tier combos with his Dragoon combo. Currently I've impressed some people including both said former Melbourne champion and the current with my usage of Hells Hammer which was on 9-60 Point but have recently switched to Unite.

I haven’t touched one since like 2010, in definitely not good. I would say more skilled than the average person on the street but it’s been a longggg time.

@@nizumablader I thought I replied but I guess I didn't, now that I'm revisiting this video however, I highly suggest the following along with their prices
      5. Magic yoyo:V10 $15-20
      4.Aceyo: Gravitation 5 $25
      3.Yoyofactory: Genpop $60
      2.Magic yoyo: Y04 Border $20-27(depending on color)
      1.Yoyo Recreation: Futura $45
What I've noticed having talked to a lot of players from back in the day, is that you get a lot of good options for not a lot of money these days. Hope this helps and hope you pick up the hobby again bro!

the thing is when i went to the tournament i use this strategy where i flat luanch it in the middle but what i really wanna know is doesnt the beyblade and the bit and rachet worn out overtime were its weak or you can still practice ?

    • @nizumablader
      @nizumablader  Před měsícem

Everything will wear down eventually. I’m still using the same 5-60 I got like 8 months ago for my main combos. Rush is probably one you want an extra of to use for practice but most things I wouldn’t worry about wearing out to fast.

This isn't really a how to get better video. It's more like how to cope with an anti meta blade. Like imagine you're favorite blade is sphinx coal or wyvern gale. Sure you can practice all you want but you just get rare rng wins. There's better choices, ppl follow the meta because it works. Try going to a high stakes tournament with a deck like leon claw, wyvern gale and shinobi shadow. You're not gonna do well even if you're the best with them cause you practice by yourself lol.

I think your missing the point of the video, it’s less about what your using and more about improving your skill in general. I’m not telling everyone to use Leonclaw because I like it, I’m telling people to spend time getting use to how things perform, specifically things that they are going to run in a deck. I’m also not telling people to not follow the meta, I follow the meta however I also like to try to win with picks I like rather than just running the same half a dozen combos as everyone else. Practice in any competitive hobby is important and definitely translates to better tournament results as you have a better fundamental understanding of the mechanics of the game.
