The fact that "fans" ruined a woman's career and mental state by continually harrassing her is horrible.
happens all the time on twitter
That’s so sad but true . People can be cruel it isn’t fair smh
Its a big part of fame 🤦🏾♀️
@@sham_morgan no it’s not
Yes injecting yourself is blamed because of her fans 🤣 dumb and stupid
I hope every single person who sent that woman a hateful messages sends her an apology. That was disgusting.
Agreed and this should apply to fans of any fandom who behaved like this, it really make my blood boil when a fanbase does that.
Agreed! But also not surprised as I’ve seen some influencers share some of the nasty messages they get sometimes over nothing. Don’t know what’s wrong with people sometimes. Morals and human decency seems to go out the window.
They won't. I wish we could call them all out though
I was bullied by this fandom online as well. Nothing I blame Demi for, but this is a tough group and really goes in for the low blows. I hope this helps some of them feel less hateful
Or how about celebrities going through the same problems as a million other people dont act like they're some inspirational story. Since they pulled through thanks to millions of dollars, virtually endless resources, millions of adoring fans, and all around just 100x more than the average person. Much less average drug user. It's difficult no matter who you are, but I have endless more respect for someone pulling themselves out of the gutter than someone who was already on top and went through this with money falling out of their pockets.
Props to Demi for calling out her fans by saying "they're passionate, but they're a little out of line sometimes" and giving her friends who were unreasonably blamed the chance to clear their name.
“abusing your abuser is not where the healing is gonna come from” powerful line that most people don’t realize 🙏🏼 praying for Demi’s true healing. she needs to take a break from Hollywood because it’s eating her up
Yep I call it hellywood
Turning them in so they don't hurt others isn't abusing them.
She needs to go back on the needle. She was cooler when she was using. She didn’t try to tell everyone ice cream is racist or what ever she was saying.
It’s ironic to me that people watch this and think “wow she’s so strong, so amazing” but when we see someone on the street clearly struggling with the same problems, we look down on them and scrutinise them so heavily. What a world we live in.
czcams.com/video/A6Rig-zY7Tc/video.html
not you copying another comment lol
bruh u just copied the comment below you lmao
To be honest, it depends more over on how you see them. And I don't mean you specifically, but I mean anyone. Personally for me, I would see a homeless addict in streets the same way I see Demi, which is someone who is in need of help. But, not everyone will see it in that perspective because the homeless person is homeless, which puts them down on the list in our society, whereas a celebrity will make it in the news because they're a celebrity.
Scrutinize LOL
It's awful that her friends had to suffer for her mistakes. If she died, her friends never would have been able to clear their names. That's so sad.
I don’t understand when bullying became cool so much hostility and anger
I know I was thinking if Demi would of not been here that poor girl would of been blamed for things she didn’t do.
AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! PAAAAAIIIINNNN!!!!!!
I broke my hand yesterday because of the hate comments I get on my amazing videos. I was so angry that I punched a hole in my computer. Please don't comment anything mean on my wonderful videos, dear non
Pay close attention to the kind of people who act so cruel and never allow that to go unchallenged.
@@save_bandit they aren't, they mean the people who were bullying Demi's friend Dani😅 but I can see how it looks that way
The fact that paparazzi still overwhelmed her and invaded her privacy while going through something so personal is absolutely horrible. Just because she’s a celebrity and is occasionally vulnerable doesn’t mean it’s okay for them to invade her personal space during something like this.
even put into words
The fact that she can still sing after having THREE strokes is absolutely incredible!!
She's so strong to come forward with all of this!! =)
I’m amazed she can even _speak, walk and feed herself_ after _three strokes._
Yes!! Exactly I was thinking the same...
I feel so bad for her choreographer friend. Her entire career was ruined because of toxic fans
That how some members of a fandom will act like, I have witness it 1st hand, it's not pretty and it gets me upset when i see fans act like this, and for certain Lovatics to act that is even more upsetting because that is form of Cyberbullying and that is something Demi has spoken out about.
She was still gainfully employed for many months after the o.d. she worked with. Fall out boy, Halsey, recently Madison Beer. But its terrible she lost her teaching jobs.
Because of demi!
Not only toxic fans but the toxic media too
I'm sure she's part of a long list
I think Demi’s former team was more concerned with the image of her being sober, than her actually being sober and well.
She summed it up so well, if all anyone is focused on is how not well you are, you aren’t going to be well. And it makes so much sense!
If people thought she wasn’t sober she wouldn’t be able to book the big gigs because she’d be considered a liability. They absolutely put how much money she was making before her quality of life.
@@smexipenguin That’s what’s wrong with the industry. They care more about an image, and their own asses, then they do about actual human beings and their wellness.

“How much heartbreak can you have at 16?!”
Stuff like this bothers me so much. Adults truly believe you have nothing to stress over or be sad about because you’re young. Age doesn’t mean a thing when it comes to pain. And it’s not a competition on who’s been through more pain than the next. What I’m going through may be the worst thing IVE ever experienced because it’s ME. When adults say stuff like that or, “you have nothing to be stressed about, I have to pay bi-“ it just makes me so upset and leads me to just keep everything to myself until I have a mental breakdown.
And people dont seem to get that what now can sound shallow to you, for a teen, it's their first time going through that, their mentality is different, they have different mechanisms to deal with things. You cant judge yourself or anyone for something from the past using the mentality you have now.
exactly! and pain is relative too! like someone who has been through a lot may take something a lot better than someone who has had a decent life up until something bad happens and they totally breakdown because they have never experienced something like that before. Everyone feels pain differently and it isn’t fair to discredit someone and their experiences because you dealt with it better than they did. I wish adults understood this.
This hit too close to home 😞

A friendship fall out will destroy u on top of trauma, I understand her story a lot.
Selena and Demi... that's a very complicated relationship. I think they experienced a lot of trauma around the same time and handled things differently. Many assault survivors feel this way. And usually that’s the case. Especially when it comes to the judicial system, we are not protected. We are thought as crying rape. I just released a 1:11:11 long freestyle on my channel, It's insanely hard to get noticed on this platform so please come show some love, you may just witness history in the making.
Bro she needs to fire scooter Braun asap

Meu Deus, a Demi é muito forte, passou por tantas coisas difíceis 😔😔 Ela é definitivamente uma guerreira.
Desejo muita força pra ela conseguir continuar lutando ❤️
Her voice is so beautiful i remember watching the Grammy performance and I cried like a baby she is just so beautiful inside and out she is just so unbelievably amazing and a beautiful soul
The “Scrolling through the comments while listening” squad
Oh Yeah😏🤘
✋🏽✋🏽
Yep but who is crying lol
Aye
“I told you I was okay but I was lying” anyone with an eating disorder can relate to that so much.
Well I think anyone with any sort of struggle - depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, eating disorder, addiction - can relate to that. We often show a smile to the world when we’re not feeling happy inside.
czcams.com/video/-RAglyw6ySk/video.html
I was just going to say that. Anyone who is struggling with anything. They pretend they are okay and hide it.
"I wanted to be super hot and famous so I had to keep throwing up duh"
"I really like cocaine and heroin.. i'm such a victim"
I FEEL THAT... I really love cocaine as well and I guess i'm a victim too!
My mom died... my cat died... my dog died...
See... look at that emotional turmoil!
Anyone with any type of addiction can relate
its nice to know that we dont struggle alone with the struggles we face. i understand wanting to take control after being violated but in my mind i could not make sense as to why such a reasoning became an option for me but hearing it come from someone else who like me kept it hidden for so long is why it is vitally important to speak your truth, someone is listening for healing. ♥️💪🏾 #survivor
Hello Demi, you are wonderful, I remember you when we watched your movies with my son. thank you for not depriving the world of your presence and beautiful voice.
Blessings!
Only people waiting for the premiere can like this
i’m with you!🤍🌷
Yass
Yess sirrrrr
Question: what’s the WORTHIEST phrase to search on youtube?
Answer: “chill yall” is the answer. Check it you don’t believe me!
Seriously 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼
"Abusing the abuser is not where your healing is going to come from" ❤️
Who do you think the abuser is
@@nealacasey6748 I have no idea
This really resonates with me
Can't just let him get away with it
Also rather unlikely the abuser would feel "abused" this way, so the whole idea is all wrong to begin with, as much as I can understand wanting to "get that power back"
Demi is not a Normal popsinger, she's one of the Best Vocalists on the Planet and for me personaly a Soulsinger and not a Popsinger! Love you Demi🌹My LIVESAFER!💋
I knew nothing about how hard her life's been during her teen years. I find her super articulate and aware of every step that leads to recovery. This episode is deeply moving.
It's really tough to see Scooter being a supportive person in Demi's life and so deeply hurting Taylor. People contain multitudes.
Demi is trying to tell her story.. So why are you worried about Taylor
@@princessduran7444 relax he’s a monster
Fr It’s so weird I thought the same thing
@@BitchGotAVJAY Haha exactly. He's there for Demi because he knows he can make money off of her talent.
czcams.com/video/-RAglyw6ySk/video.html
taking a moment to think about all the non-celebs who deal with the same issues Demi faced but don't get support and get looked down on. we see you, you are worthy
Im that person. And finally coming out with my truth
I'm late to the party cause of to much trauma I had to overcome thanks for the acknowledgement :)
This is why I am glad Demi is using her platform to bring attention to problems even us average joes go through.

Hello demi I just wanna say your journey is very emotional and can’t wait for the last episode and it’s ironic how 2020 was your rebirth back into the stage and yet this quarantine sort of in a way both stopped it and get improved it by giving you time to both make more music and film this for all of us.
Demi, I seriously cried the first few minutes of this. As someone who is going through substance use disorder an eating disorder and alcohol use disorder I somewhat get your decisions. Keep going...
I can’t take Scooter seriously after what he did to Taylor Swift and allegedly to other artists. I think he just looks at her as a money bag :( wish her the best
Exactly what I thought as soon as he came on screen 😩
Lmao I was pissed when I saw him at the screen i feel like its not genuine. It's like all for the ~cam~
This! How can you say that people don't believe women when they are mistreated and then go to the agressor of one and call him a "friend" COME ON!!!!
I hope the same way they flooded Dani with so much hate, they flood her with apologies. That's representative of Demi's fandom and Dani deserves it.
you really think they're gonna do that?
I doubt it which is so sad tbh
I can say for certain they didn't
I just released a 1:11:11 long freestyle on my channel, It's insanely hard to get noticed on this platform so please come show some love, you may just witness history in the making.
yes! I may not like Dani, but blaming her for such a serious stuff??? Wishing death? I see why Demi hates us and doesn't talk to us. Lovatics deserve it 100%.
i hope she holds her strength and continues her full journey with life. so many people go thorough this pain and never make it out, we love you demi ❤️
Dani needs Justice she was getting blamed for Demi's choices and those so called "fans" should have been arrested for verbal abuse and harassment like who tf does that to someone when you only know one side of a very sad and unfortunate situation
That is why MaryKate & Ashley are no longer in the public eye. It’s tough.
what happened to them
@@ray-kf3mf they were mifchelle on full house since they were like 1, movie companies and merchandise- millionaires by 7! But then people starting bullying them, one was anorexic, they stopped acting, and to this day run their fashion line( which is REALLY SUCCESSFUL)
omg yes. most of the disney and nickelodeon child stars were relatively older when they started, so I can't imagine how it's different starting out when you're an infant and don't even have a choice in the matter. I don't know how much they've said about their childhood but I do kinda wish they would do something like this.
Very true. I miss them so much...
@Grace C Lizzie as in Elizabeth Olsen?
Interviewer: how much heartbreak can you have at 16?
Demi: oh... a lot
That hit me in the chest. The trauma these kids experience in these industries. It's lucky any of them get out alive.
Not just industry, her family issues, bullying, eating disorders, the mutilation...none of it is child star exclusive issues.
@@soaribb32 Never said it was exclusive to the industry, just a commentary on the industry itself and what kids are put through.
I’m Just blown away by Your Strength Demi... Think of how many people have received help, because You were brave enough to tell your story. Much Love & Respect ❤️🙏❤️🙏
Im just so proud of you, you are so strong doing this. Im so sorry you had to go through all of that but its made you so strong now. People judge to easy which its wrong, learn and listen to what you and your best friend went through and understand the reason you got to the point you did. Again im proud of who you have become
Sad to know my childhood enjoying her talents, she was suffering behind the scene.
literally same w Jennette McCurdy. Hollywood isn’t for kids
It is heartbreaking hey. Whoever this monster is that raped her, and she gave little hints, I hope and pray that justice is served for Demi and other girls they would of obviously done the same thing to. But who is it?
That’s all I could think of. And the fact that we never knew, or at least not her whole story. she always tried to keep a smile on her face for us.
This episode teaches the audience that you never really know what someone is going through. Don’t judge others!

Demi end Selena’s career
Especially celebrities. Kardashians for example we see and have seen a ton of their lives for a long time but weve seen a quarter of their actual lives. We see what they want us to see. We think we know them we have literally no idea.
True that!
You have a fantastic family and such an amazing group of friends. You have a big and pure heart, that's because you can tell us this sad story... I cried, and I've been so sad and pained... We thought that the worst thin ever could happen. But you're here. Our warrior is here. We love you, always.
I think your story screams it doesn’t matter what problems you have and all the resources and support you have .. change in you will come from you first but that support is also important once you take control of your own life . More power to you Demi 🌻
I love how Demi is owning up to her mistakes and realizing the people she's hurt and giving everyone a chance to explain what happened.
it's part of sobriety.
Just took 4 years and some life and career ruined but yesss I guess
ikr she's being honest now.
Their is no one to blame but her own self ... I used to admire Demi but she lied to many times kinda over it as a fan
I agree. I think she tried the common force of sobriety which resulted terribly. Addiction involves a lot of downs, but working through them is a better turnout in the end. Truthfully, I feel the pop music industry tried to control her, whereas rock has always been a way to scream out what’s really going on- not to mention the audience is filled with souls that have been the kindest of everyone I’ve met.
Sirah and Matthew have stuck with Demi throughout ALL of this they really are true friends
She's so lucky to have friends like them
Deadass I didn't really know who Matthew was before this but I had just assumed he was part of Demi's staff since he's always been around
Don’t forget Dani, although she knows Demi on a professional level, they have friendship. She took the fall for all of it and was quiet because she was busy worrying about Demi being alive at the end of all of this
She needs to change those words. “I LOST my virginity in a rape” no. You’re virginity wasn’t lost. It was TAKEN. There’s a difference.
Hi
It's refreshing to see she had people around her that cares.. ❤️
Props to demi for clearing her team's name.. her choreographer musta been thru a lot

People gotta stop worshiping these celebrities as if they are invincible or immortal. They are still humans and can fall from grace just like everyone else. She’s not the first and won’t be last. Wishing her infinite strength.
alot of her fans worship her. you don't have to think she's immortal or invincible- there are those worshipers who think she is frail and in need of constant salvation by them- which is why they viciously attack anyone they think offended her
@Infamous Grizzly exactly... she probably does want to do better, but she's not being serious about it at all... Making a documentary every time you relapse isn't gonna help anyone- it's just showing people how out of control your life is.

Infinite strength is a bit much but I get your idea😄
I was sexually assaulted over a year ago and got 2 STI’s from it. I spent months internalising it and blaming myself. The person never got arrested and pretty much nothing was done about it.
Thankyou Demi for talking about it. It’s taken some of the pain away.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and I want to DM you because it is a little to personal to post on a public platform. BUT I JUST WANT TO SAY YOU ARE AMAZING AND THANK YOU FOR BEING AUTHENTICALLY YOU 🥰❤
DO NOT SPECULATE WHO RAPED HER. There is a reason she did not say his name. There is a reason she started this episode with what happened to Dani Vitale. If she would have wanted us to know, she would have told us. Don't speculate. Don't harass. Don't ruin someone's life. Just stop and respect peoples boundaries.
Exactly, I saw that happening in the Live Chat Feed During the premiere i had to minimize it. I don't like Fandom Behavior like that and Lovatics are better than that.
@@danholt1561 your question literally defeats the entire purpose of this comment - don't ask :)
@@danholt1561 it’s not the Jonas brothers they stayed friends and worked together after disney
Let’s worry about protecting a rapists reputation
I think it's human nature to speculate who it is. As long as people don't act upon that speculation and send hate I think it's fine.
I’ve been clean off heroin for 4 years and 5 months now, you CAN do this Demi! Praying for you to live a happy and sober life ❤️
I'M SO INCREDIBLY PROUD OF YOU❤❤
