@@lavenderliliac I’m assuming that after that night Jordan wasn’t in the mental state to be her assistant anymore. This incident was def a lot for her too so it’s totally understandable. Doesn’t mean they’re not friends anymore.
Honestly true. I think part of that is deflection in their role in her becoming addicted to drugs (because forcing your kid into being a child star usually results in this. It’s a highly toxic environment that usually results in a ton of trauma and parents don’t normally seem to take responsibility or this).
Not everybody reacts the same way. Just because they aren’t sobbing during this interview, does not mean they don’t care. Part of their ways of coping is probably to stay strong and keep a straight face.

That is trauma and shock and of course she might seem strange because maybe she hasn’t had the time to completely breath in this process, she had to be strong for her. We cannot know what people feel towards their close relatives, especially the celebrities who we have a glimpse of their personality, life and everything else through media , who can capture 1% of 99% of their character. I think we shouldn’t judge without knowing all the facts and even then is not our responsibility to do so. Just don’t judge, especially in this online era when words arrive superfast and can have emotional and psychological impact on people we don’t even know!

Its a sad world we live in. People want drama and to be in the know. If us consumers would stop feeding into it they wouldnt be following stars the way they do pressing for drama.
We as people always want more information than we should have and want things to be more than they are. Celebrities wouldn't have to worry about 'being seen out drinking' or 'wearing dresses' if it weren't for the fact that us people that feed off them just disregard that their human and think of them as objects who should be doing exactly what we think is 'perfect' I understand the sirens I wouldn't want the world knowing about something that the world isn't going to help at all. Only make worse really, and use it for more popularity and more topics to talk about. They wanted no sirens so that they would have less to worry about, less things to stress over other than the life of Demi which was the most important, which was all they should have had to worry about but couldn't because then there would only end up being more trouble.
The purpose of sirens is for ease when rushing through traffic. Demi also lives in LA which is a busy place so the sirens were necessary but yea, her privacy was important but juggling that may have been hard

everyone has different ways of processing trauma. its pretty common for people to come off calm and distant when recounting events, and recounting from a distance as a defense mechanism to guard ones own emotions. as a person with CPTSD and a therapist in training, seems like a very normal response and way to act in the situation!
I only wish I would have known about Demi’s ordeal before I dang near died in 2019 from heroin and cocaine! They've likely all had a LOT of therapy to be able to talk about it at all. After a while of talking about trauma, it kind of feels like you're telling a story. You detach yourself from it and those feelings you had in the moment get locked away. Part of it is your brain protecting you and part of it is acceptance. It's all you can do.

Honestly true. I think part of that is deflection in their role in her becoming addicted to drugs (because forcing your kid into being a child star usually results in this. It’s a highly toxic environment that usually results in a ton of trauma and parents don’t normally seem to take responsibility or this).
Hey don't f*** with one of my tribe here. you have no idea about the sincerity of anyone's parents unless they're your own.

I’m seeing some comments that are assuming her mother gives a “bad vibe” or doesn’t seem trustworthy. I mean isn’t the exact message of this documentary not to prejudice and judge, especially online?!
I mean the woman has been twice that road, first with her former husband who she had been abused from, and now her child, watching her slowly dying in front of her eyes without her being able to do anything! Its a sad world we live in. People want drama and to be in the know. If us consumers would stop feeding into it they wouldnt be following stars the way they do pressing for drama.
We as people always want more information than we should have and want things to be more than they are. Celebrities wouldn't have to worry about 'being seen out drinking' or 'wearing dresses' if it weren't for the fact that us people that feed off them just disregard that their human and think of them as objects who should be doing exactly what we think is 'perfect'
I understand the sirens I wouldn't want the world knowing about something that the world isn't going to help at all. Only make worse really, and use it for more popularity and more topics to talk about. They wanted no sirens so that they would have less to worry about, less things to stress over other than the life of Demi which was the most important, which was all they should have had to worry about but couldn't because then there would only end up being more trouble.

I feel there is a ton of responsibility displacement here. Throughout. And that is very disappointing
Agree how so for u
yup
I've never really thought about the impact someone's overdose has on their loved ones, but seeing this drove that point home for me. I can't even imagine getting that phone call and not knowing whether your child/sibling/friend is going to make it or not. Until I watched this, I didn't fully understand the magnitude of what happened to Demi. I'm honestly so glad they're alive.
I'm so glad Demi released this in CZcams 4 the world to see and not some streaming site you have to pay for because this is REAL LIFE! I know from having mental health to a heroin user. Been sober 9 years now.
Congrats on your sobriety. Hope you continue to do well ☺️
It's CZcams red. Which you have to pay for.
@@bet_jev8711 what are you talking about? I dont have youtube red and I am watching 🙃
Congratulations on your sobriety !!
@@DulceAmor96 Thank you❤❤❤❤
Her guardian angels were with her. She is such a strong women!

@Geetanjali Patil sorry, I’m not familiar with that. Can you explain?
@@JonJon-it8kk 87
@Geetanjali Patil Ohh, I hope she able to quit those entirely.
@Geetanjali Patil Smoking weed domt do any harm to anyone unless it gets laced. It's legal in California. But if that leads her to other things than yes she needs to stop
I was a fan of you as a kid, in your Disney days and remember you talking about your struggles but had no idea how bad it truly was! I just want to say, thank you so much for sharing your story. It couldn't have been easy but I for one appreciate it and am so thankful that you're alive and well and doing so much better! Of course thankful to all those who have been helping you along the way as well! I hope you continue doing well and can't wait to see more of your journey!
i dont think i could be any more speachless over this stunning doc. i think this is very educational .
it's educational in the sense that it gives you knowledge of her life... it doesn't give you any wisdom at all. unless you mean that it shows you who not to bring into your life and everything that you shouldn't do with your life
"You cant help someone that doesnt want tk be helped."
This is a very true statement for mental health or anything for that matter.

Ok.. what are your links about??
So true! That comes as well with personal liberation/freedom; you have to seek it and want it all the time to experience it. For a controversial but very interesting read, recommend people check out Global Truth Project and read "The Present" online; it helped me at the beginning of the pandemic get out of one of the darkest times of my life
That fact that Jordan thought she was gonna get in trouble for calling 9-1-1 is pretty sad like what kind of team did Demi have like this is someone's life,I hope Jordan is doing ok because that could be very traumatizing
yeah these celebrity teams are sad
czcams.com/video/qIUX5W86dVU/video.html
No, its not only the team, but papparazzi and journalist.
It’s all about positive PR.

ive had to pause this series to cry multiple times cause i relate to some of these things emotionally (like loosing friends, almost loosing friends and terrible mental health.) this pulls my heart strings. love you demi
I am so sorry for everything you've had to deal and live through. All these chapters broke my heart because at some point I understood what you were feeling. I love you. Stay strong.
Knowing Demi grew up admiring Hayley Williams and Paramore, and knowing Demi + Hayley have been releasing music related to their healing journeys, I'd love to see a conversation between them.
Love this idea!
Yessssss
Yes!!!
This is so heartbreaking what she experienced. That drug dealer should not be roaming around free, I hope he was arrested. She's so strong, never been more proud of her sharing this story no matter how long it took.
He's literally bragging about what he did to demi in a tmz video, disgusting
@@outlawblythe3092 What?! That's awful, when was that?

THESE still won’t get rid of the devastation I’m feeling rn, like srsly.. I LOVE YOU dd ❤️❤️❤️
I don’t believe Demi knows how truly beautiful she is. We love you Demi.
when Matt said they celebrated her getting past the "27 club" I got literal chills..
Dang I thought it was 22 club for rappers but woah even celebrities aren’t making it past 27 😱😱

True🥺💞
I feel the same way ❤️

exactly :( I wish people were a lot nicer and empathetic to each other. you never know what someone is dealing with
DEMI, BRAZIL 🇧🇷 LOVES YOU! THANK YOU FOR BEING THIS EXAMPLE OF RESILIENCE AND LIGHT FOR ALL OF US ❤️
This gave me too many chills, I cried, with the simple fact of thinking that how many people suffer for the same and do not want to see their relatives like that... Definitely Demi is a fighter! It's incredible, a thousand respects to her.
I couldn't stop crying throughout this episode. Such a traumatizing experience not only for her but for everyone who loves her.
