Beautifully rusted Double Nickel Wagon!!
What a grungy looking car. It's great! I have seen cars that did look that bad and even worse so I think it is very authentic looking. Thanks for sharing this.
Fantastic job Danny
There is such beauty in rusting old vehicles, much more so than in pristine finishes. You capture that beauty extremely well.
Nice job!
Spot on as usual! Great job
Great stuff 👍👍
Great rust job !
I love these grunge builds, so much more interesting visually than trying to make the car look perfect and brand new.
Great barn find replicated . Perfect as always man👍
When they say attention to detail. They actually mean be like Danny. This is amazing. You and sideways king 75 are on top of the game.
That's amazing. Love it!
Chevy Nomads are amongst my favourite classic American vehicles.... wonderful job!!
Top job as usual Danny! You really are the master of this genre, looks like it just rolled out of a rickety old barn. The flat tyre kind of worked, doesn't need that much tweaking to get the look right next time.
Yeah it kind of reinflated a bit after a few hours. Need to melt it more next time.
very nice attention to details.
Awesome work , cool car . way to go . Mike Espo...
GREAT rusty job Excellent work 🏆
I love it looks great
Love love love your weathering techniques!😍 Think you actually could use three more flat tires! Never saw a Nomad with a modern sunroof so that could have been
filled in but it's no biggie here!👍🏻👍🏻
Now that you mention it I can't find a photo of one either. Maybe they copied a customized one back in 1970. Its also notable that they didn't bother to raise the windscreen up into the hole at all so it sits quite noticeably lower than the top of the car.
Love the 55 Nomad, great detail on the weathering! Keen eye for great diecast builds. My favorite so far!
🤔 hmmm! Cool, it even has a flat tire! LOL! 👍😁
Very Nice
I absolutely love the way you hit every detail even finding a way to make one of the tires go “flat.” Stellar work, mate! The car is spectacular!
Great job Danny , now all we need is to see it restored back to its former glory 😉😄
واو WOW ❤
i'm gobsmacked,Danny.one of your best,imho.
Genius build. Watching DDD is like watching Bob Ross! I think the bar just went up again.
Definitely a barn find look, great look there, mate...
I love the flat tire. Good use for those slightly wonky after market tires.
Okay, you've found this in the barn. So maybe a restoration? (It would be funny to do over a second model with new paint and detailing. You show the old one on a lift, and then roll the "restored and customized" model out of a garage.)
Beautifully done exquisite with the tires🔥‼️
Hands down one of my favorites! Of the Hot Wheels that I owned as a kid, the Nomad has always been the one I think of most fondly.
Thank you, I'm learning so much from your videos!
Excellent work Danny ,looks great .
Always a pleasure to watch your videos :) I like the flat tire, and this one should have all off them flat ;)
Wow, thats an awesome customizing. The look is great and very realistic! Wonderful job!
LQQks like it's ready for a restore!
Great job!
Cheers
Nice work Danny! Looks amazing!!
To make a flat tire effect look better, cut just inside of the tire wall down just enough so it will sit right do this to the front of the tire and the back then remove the tire between your two cuts and then cut off the back slice of the tire and remove the middle up to the cut on the front side of the tire. Then lay the front flap down and make it bulge out and then once satisfied glue it down.
love it man. Thanks for shareing your work.
All the effort paid off mate this is awesome 🔥🔥🔥
That's one heck of a barn find, awesome work mate👍
The painting & weathering tips were great. Ths use of salt was a great procedure, I never seen before. Thanks
Wow, I wish I had your TALENT
I have the 1970 version for some strange reason was made in France, nice model. Can't understand why I repainted it brown. As always love the fabulous detail you put into your models.
Wow! You really know how to destroy a perfectly good Hot Wheel. Excellent!
Pretty good, old chevys old times
Great job, 👍👍
I guess that one's going from shabby to shabbier
I tried the salt technique once or twice and made a complete mess of it. Excellent work 👍👌
luvx it....very kool...Imma Nomad collector.....thanx for the kool build Danny
Robert
im gonna have to invest in some weathering powders, really like the dust/crud effect you managed on the windscreen.
They are a little dear to buy but they go a really long way, especially on the 1/64th scale stuff.
👍👍👍👍👍
a reverse restoration?
👍
All that’s missing is for it to be on the shelves!
Best fake rust I`ve seen so far...
Great job!
:-D
Not a fan of the rusty look but great job
"Sorry Mate,,, No Way can I Pink Slip It?"
You the Expert at $h!?box Dude!
Unreal Triple DDD.
Looks great Danny, the only thing it's missing is a layer of chicken shit. I bet Mr. Samoa can give you some, he seems to be full of it! Hahahahaha!
Haha actually I was just thinking today about doing a bird crapped car and how to do it ...
What are you using for a spray booth filter? It's amazing it's still able to pull air!
I love your work work where did you get those rims from?? I love lowriders. This would be great for my custom.
They are Greenlight wheels from a Ford pack i think
And Danny you’re excellent have a great eye your artist when it comes to Diecast truly I enjoy every videos got a question for you do you do commissions ? Awesome Mark
Sure, my email is in the about section. Need to view it on a browser
Unglaublich wie detailgetreu du das immer hinbekommst.
If I could just find someone who does this with acrylic paint....
Give it twelve months then pull it out and restore it.
Great Job!!. ¿where did you buy the wheels? thank you

Chevy impala
1 view, what’s up with that?
Nice job But I not like hot wheels
Then why are you here?
I've been a modeler for 50 years, this may be the worst finished product I've ever seen. Did you make this up yourself?...yikes....
Not my thing... if you like it, cool, but it's not for me. Seems a long way to go to still have something that looks like crap.
