LOST ME WHEN YOU PAINTED ALL THE CHROME SILVER.
Nice job in aging a spotless model
The car is wrecked but the plastic chrome trim is fine. Nothing snapped or broken at all... Hmm...
I think it’s put there and made to look lost and found . Bit silly
I just love the way he always manages to have all the missing parts by hand :p.
He obviously buys the car then breaks it up. Then he puts mud and crap all over it and then puts it in a odd location and then makes out that he just found it 🤠. Everyone is foooooooled!!!!
@@ivecodaddy4817 çáaáááa
And the way he finds them lol
I remember having several of these Maisto models as a kid in the mid-90's! I had a red one, white one, possibly pink, and possibly blue. Even as a kid I loved the big old cars and this was about the biggest 1:18 scale model available at the time. Now I have the AutoArt version and it is very well done!
I purchase a five shelf stand up, lighted jewelry case, all glass and mirror. I have about 25, 1/18 cars, mostly Chevelle’s, 442’s GTO’s. They’re mostly high end cars and Beautiful in that lighted case. My wife let me put it in the Living Room 🤣. I Buy and Trade occasionally, if your interested. Really enjoy just looking at them sometimes.
Same here! I had the black 1:18 Maisto Eldo. Now, I own both color series 62 Autoart Cadillacs (light brown and the bright red one). Very expensive because they're both in mint shape, with the black boxes and paperwork.
Chris Corrado I lucked up on a 5 shelf lighted Glass Jewelry case about 6’ tall.
I’ve got about 22 Cars, 1/18’s. My cars are mostly 60’s Muscle, Chevelles, GS Buick’s, GTO’s Etc. A lot of which are high end cars, but I do have some 50’s too. Not very active anymore with buying because I couldn’t afford to buy another case. Lol I do like to talk about them, maybe even do some trading. I got to stay around 22 cars.
Anyway, thanks for the note!
As other people have commented, the missing wheels just turning up is very convenient. More impressive however is his finishing post spray work. If you look at the top left corner of the bonnet (hood in the US), there are still horrendous pocks and marks because it wasn't prepped right. Look at the same spot at the end of the video - spotless.
It's a murcle.
Absolutely. I restore 1/64th stuff and that thing was in ROUGH shape when he painted it, I balked at it. Spray painting the chrome and not using a chrome pen is a major mistake as well. I think he halved the value of that one by "restoring" it
I missed the part when you show how to find (or make) replacements for the missing lamps and wheels...
im sure theres modelar shops with some spare parts. Or u can do it like me, use similiar parts from another wrecked model (believe me, i got tons of model wrecks that really are wrecks from my and my brotherts childhood). and u can always use some old plastics or metal and do a custom. theres a lot of options, they just needs to be found. theres also some kind of "plastic in tube" that i see get used for custom body on hot wheels custom vid, u can also use it on bigger cars.
The thumbnail had front wheels, but they weren't in the video.
@@megs8654 you're right, but what I meant is that the didn't show HOW he rescued / rebuilt some missing parts that later appeared in the "restored" model.
Cara fantástico ficou esse Cadillac, o melhor de todos até agora. Estilo Elvis Presley. Show
There's just sooo much wrong here..
Good job, I loved it from start to finish, although I would have liked it more if the Cadillac had less pink and the color was not so strong, and I would have liked a pastel pink or light pink
Just so happen to be just sitting there by its self not buried or anything ...... Right
Would like to see video of how you destroyed car before doing the "restoration".
kkkk idem
do you do better?
Want to before picture. Restoration poor quality... Sorry if the truth hurts.
@@RicardoMartinsP fake junk!
LOVE CADILLACS OF ANY SIZE! Beautiful job! Wish I had one in my garage! Oops I don't have a garage!
Same here.wish I had a garage and a cadillac.
hi where did you find the plastic windshield
Come on dude we all know this is fake you can tell right from the beginning that it staged
Yeah Xd
Да, это подделка
Why does it matter
why would someone make a fake restoration?
@@GustavoMdeOliveira For views? Do you really need to ask such a stupid question?
Bullet tail lights missing... Bullet tail lights magically reappered...
The looks of vintage cars are on the other level.😍😍
Felicitaciones , muy bella restauración
The car is absolutely chaotic on the outside from the start, but under the hood looks nearly pristine? How it that possible?
What impresses me more is the fact that he remembers how to put it all back together perfectly in the end
Respect the classic man
Original de novo, maravilhoso!
This is sloppy. He does not even take time to really clean the parts.
The underside of the hood while painting........
It’s amazing that old beat up model cars are just all over the place waiting to be cleaned and restored. Hahahah wacky!
You are one of the best Diecast restoration channels on CZcams, Although I don't build 1/18 model cars I have actually learned many model building tricks from your restoration videos. Thank you for making and sharing them.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account?
I was stupid lost my account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
@Gage Preston instablaster =)
@Koda Lyle thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Koda Lyle it worked and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much you saved my ass :D
@Gage Preston no problem :)
It's amazing how messed up cars are everywhere you go. Hmmm.
dude how do u not know he wrecks the cars on purpose wich honestly is impressive
@@cress5580 I never said that. Just curious.
he left his baby in the middle of the road and went for the abandoned toy car?
Joseph
obviously! #priorities
😂😂
Looking at this car, I’d have to set it aside as a doner car. I have a 47 Caddy and a 55 or 6, Black, both of them. Beautiful!!
Great Job on that, now I’m looking for blue suede shoes
Increible los detalles que tiene ese modelo.
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya
Ótimo trabalho
Ótimo vídeo
Um grande abraço
That's a car with some serious style. MUCH better looking than anything from the last 50 years.
A guy who rebuilds 1/18 scale finds one in a drainage ditch while he has a camera. Now that amazingly good luck. Good job on the car. Keep them coming.
Good job! :)
It's only missing the side mirrors bug very pretty
One question how do you get extra parts for your cars Im really trying to find some
Extra parts are pretty scarce I’d say. I got about a 25 car collection in a lighted jewelry case. Trade and Buy sometimes.
Wuaooooo good job congrulations!!
ficou charmoso maravilhoso
It can't believe that you found in garbage that what you turn in beauty!
Kiểu xe này chỉ còn ở CUBA là còn nhiều !! Trước năm 1975 Việt Nam dùng làm xe cưới bây giờ không còn chiếc nào !!
Do you always video yourself pushing a stroller? And when you do, do you always find neglected collectible cars posed in a culvert? And when you do, do you always have the correct spare parts? Asking for a friend
Hahaha... you're "friend" was reading my mind too
Ficou muito bom!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Gosto muito desse tema de restaurar objetos
Come on man, at least put "reenactment". We know that aint how you found the thing....
@@richthegecko5995 geez
I was about to say the same thing
At the beginning, I thought there's nothing left to restore, torch it and buy a new one. Other than the heinous Pepto Bismol color, very impressive job!
Really amazing bro... I loving it
Beautiful job..
him walking the baby: hey isn't that mine what is it doing out here let me take it back home.
Another masterpiece from the god of toys
Hello from puebla mexico
This car was very expensive as a toy ... I think.
Mmmm. Such things have a soul, so it is good deal to restore it. Bravo
P.S.This pink color is insane !!!
This is why Americans are the best car designers in the world
Nice work mate
Обалдеть! Очень круто!
Another excellent restoration project Paulie!! Utterly beautiful and stunning
Once again a job well done 👍
model car is so good
Restored to full glory nice job 😁👍🏽👍🏽👌
Thts Beautiful Aretha Franklin would've love tht car.
Christine, the killer car the movie ♥️
Was that a 1957 plymouth
Great talent
That is strange how does he manage to have all those missing handy when he needs them sounds like a setup to me 😂 he does a beautiful job for real it's very hard to fix a broken model sometimes keep up the good work my friend
Sou brasileiro mas gosto do seu canal
I liked better how it looked, when he found it.
Probably this is all shown backwards and actually a de-restoration.
No sir, I think the hood reflections showed a lot of underlying bad prep.
I like that he painted it back pink. But the car was missing two front tires where he get the two tires from?
Que belleza de carro... lástima que le hiciste un mal trabajo de pintura.
I love the 1953 - 1966 Cadillac Eldorados the best because they were 2WD . Front wheel drive cost more money if something goes wrong with them !!
I think he should have left the car where he found it, that way someone that knew what he was doing would find it and do a proper restoration.
Maravilloso... 🤜🏻🤛🏻
More frames of the finished car, please.
Oh, I like this one
Todo un maestro saludos des de Mexico
GREAT JOB!!!
You can give a life back to a dead item.🖤
Thats fire damage
Me gustan tus restauraciones
Комментарий в поддержку канала и ролика, а также труда мастера.
To be totally honest I would have kept it like it was old and rusty like .
Just a tip for when you fake wreck the cars, dirt and water would get inside them too, the insides should not be spotless.
Ты гений 👍🏿
Splendido restauro! Le ruote, però, le avrei messe un po' più larghe ;-)
That’s tony Montana’s Cadillac, I like this model.
If you paint with red color. It will look so good
Very good job👏👏
Should have painted the interior light gray and seats pink and white. Painted red on front blinkers and clear plastic/glass for headlights to make it all stand out.
Belleza de carro yo tengo uno así es un Cadillac el dorado
Muito bacana
Ohh man, it looks fine but, need more detail like primer, a better sandbrush and a better cuality paint, i love the model and its a great job. Cheers
Somewhere, Elvis is smiling!
Elvis never had one of those...
Awesome !!!!!!!!!
Friend: what you do for a living?
Me: i restore rusty toy cars and put them back to normal
Very nice
Carros a escala; qué los botan a las cañadas; y los recogen y los arreglan para la colección.
No se lo cree ni el, pero la puesta en escena ya tiene mérito.
What do all of you care if it's fake? Just appreciate what he can do to repair it. This is about the artistry and the work.
If it bothers you so much why are even bothering to comment?
STFU
Because the rest of us who actually do restoration work are insulted by this video. That's why
You were faced with three options: Leave the finned Caddy alone, take a hammer to it, or rescue it. Fine choice!
If 90% the of the people here know this is fake... Wtf are you doing here??
excellent work, but it is worth doing? There are so mainy survovors on the market......
I go to antique or pawn shops to get my ruined models I don’t ruin them myself.🤷🏼♂️
