  • đŸ„”HOT TOPIC ALERT 👉Here comes a video all about the horse’s TOE!
Here is another #ItsNotRocketScience lesson with Lindsay Setchell on why it is important to leave the toe as opposed to removing the toe (chopping the toe).
Buckle up - grab a cuppa - this is going to be a long one - very fitting for the long toe 😉

I was a toe chopper too đŸ€ŠđŸŒâ€â™€ïž not proud but it is pushed by vets and most farriers and well known farriers. Ugh! so glad I met you. I have changed my views and want to do better for my horses.

My horse had founder for over 6 years and one thing I noticed is the farrier shaving off his toe at every trim. He shaved it so much you could see the laminae showing and both he and the vet said this had to be done to release pressure from the front. When I tried to reverse this it was too late and he eventually had to be put down. I'm glad to have found your videos to help me, not the farrier, trim my 2 other horses better, thank you.

Does that mean I never cut the toe? My horse has laminitis and had a Strasser-trim which I deeply regret to be honest but I was told it would be necessary...! Then she did not have a trim for a longer period of time and the toe grew very long. It was shortened now but not more than the white line suggested. She seems to walk better now. Looking forward for your comment on that. Thank you and it is a great job you are doing informing the horse-world of so may misconceptions. Thank you!

Please, though, realize not all your viewers believe in evolution or mother nature. Some, like me, believe in God and what the Bible says about creation not Darwin, thanks.

    Less snark. More instruction.
You are just repeating your displeasure over and over and over and over. Get to the point of your lecture. You lost me in the bitching.

So don't watch it, then. Who's forcing you?

@timfortune7582 I didn't finish watching it. You must have not understood that part of my post. Isn't the point of posting videos is to gain an audience? I am entitled to my opinion and by the lack of likes the video has gotten maybe I'm not wrong.

@@damnlimpnickis509 maybe if you'd finished watching, you would have found that the presenter 'got to the point' of her lecture very well and you would have learned a lot. You can't make demands and then admit to not sticking around to see whether it happened or not.

Your reading comprehension needs fine tuning. Again, my complaint was get to the information. Don't spend 15 minutes insulting, demeaning, snarking.
I was not willing to give anymore of my time waiting for content or to see if it even came. Creator can take my input or leave it but likes and viewers are rather important. BTW, did you produce this? Is that why you are touchy?

@@damnlimpnickis509no, I didn’t produce it. But I can only imagine how it must feel to produce good FREE content with the kindest of intentions only to have it ripped apart by snarkmongers such as you. If you’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t bother.
