I feel like there's been a real revival of the rock genre in the past decade or so. Daughtry, The Pretty Reckless, Airbourne, Halestorm... a whole bunch of amazing new bands popped up around the late 2000s and early 2010s.
Took about an hour of having this song stuck in my head for me to realize that I couldn't get Outta My Head outta my head.

I'm such a weird person but my favorite part of the video(not including the soundtrack, just the video, y'know?) is somewhere around 0:45 where he's almost run over by a car. This guy was willing to give his car to Daughtry after taking a selfie.
It was funny, he even told the fans. "Don't think I am gonna win and then not vote for me. If you want me to win... Vote." Fans got cocky, figured he'd go all the way and didn't vote (as far as I know). My guess is it's one of the big reasons he didn't win.. but this opened him up to create the music he has. :D
