My grandfather had this with his bladder, regular checks were all clear every time and suddenly he started urinating blood again. Luckily he won his battle twice, but it’s scary how it can come back out of nowhere. My grandmother wasn’t as lucky, she survived the first wave of oesophageal cancer but it came back and she didn’t make it. Cancer is a horrible thing

I have been in remission for over 10 years, my right testicle removed, and two tumors from my abdominal area... before the abdomen surgery when I just had my testicle gone my sex life was fine. I can't ejaculate now because of never damage. At 23 and single trying to find love, it was very embarrassing and difficult to explain... plus it has messed up my relationships to this day. No kids and self esteem issues in bed.. I pray no one has to go through this cancer.

I lost my right testicle aged 28 in 2014 from a misdiagnosis of cancer (turned out to be scar tissue which unfortunately sometimes mimics cancer on ultrasounds). Not only did I have to tell my friends, family and work I had cancer and then have surgery to have my testicle removed I then had to embarrassingly tell everyone it wasn’t cancer afterwards. The NHS offered me zero support or counselling and basically discharged me with no further treatment. To make matters worse I have chronic debilitating pain in my surviving testicle so I’ve been clinging onto that one for 7 years and have spent over £25k of my own money trying to find a cure. I may need to join this guy soon and have the second one removed but need to have kids first.

Within a week I was on the operating table to have my only teste removed due to being born with only one. Now going through hormone replacement therapy and all those checks to monitor any possible return.

I just found out my blue cross blue shield PPO health insurance doesn’t cover prosthetic testicular implants. I have testicular cancer. I rather die with both of my testicals than walk around with one half dead one. I rather die from the cancer. Women have the federal law “Women’s health and cancer” act where it states that their silicone breast implant is medically necessary. But my having my testicals isn’t a medical necessity. Men’s health is hugely ignored.

I just got off my first admission in a cancer ward. I just turned 26 in July, diagnosed 1 June. For men, there is a 9 week wait for me to get any professional help from a foundation or mental health support or anything. There wasn't even a book about testicular cancer in the family day room. I should have photographed the hallways, littered with support and services for women and children and families. But when the Man of the family is affected, you can wait and we can't help your family. Go see if unemployment benefits apply to you. This is my situation and I'm sure the same for many other blokes.
