#vegan #juicing #recipes #juicer #healthy - ZĂĄbava
Totally agree with you Kristina. Juice in the morning and smoothies throughout the day. This doesn't mean that we are ignoring fiber as I can get plenty of fiber throughout the rest of the day. Cucumbers, carrots, apples and some greens don't cost an arm and a leg to juice so I'm not too worried about "wasting"money. It all is an investment into good health.
or smoothies in the morning for the fiber, if you wanna poop. Then juice for the rest of the day. Simple
SERIOUSLY LOVE YOU GUYS! Thanks for all your positive comments! :) Many hugs back! :)
Great information! I always thought smoothies were better because of the fiber, but I now know the benefits of juicing as well.
Thank you so much for making the distinction between the two! I too was under the impression that smoothies were healthier due to their fiber content. It was fascinating to think of blenders as essentially "chewing" the food in a way that we cannot, making the nutrients more available to the body. It definitely increases my inclination toward smoothies.
We love you more!!
thank you for all the info and support, Kristina! :)
thank you so much for doing this challenge!
I prefer smoothies
Same
K Dot same
Me Too!!
JUICE and then use the pulp filtered out and make a SMOOTHIE. Best of both.
Justice Understanding thats what i do bro
Justice Understanding why the extra step and not just make the smoothie đđ ? Or it the pulp to make other meals or broth?
Sacha Saint-Cyr blending lowers the concentration of Nutritional value , so juice first then add pulp for fiber (Calcium is the exception , youâll get more calcium if you blend
Thatâs too much work just blend it
Ok you guys....tell me YOUR favorite! Which is better?? Juices or smoothies?! Please share with me why below! :)
I love both, but when I juice I feel like I'm tossing food out (the fiber) and I don't feel as full. I'm a bigger guy, so one of your 32 oz smoothies are more fulfilling.
I love juices because its gives me the extra boost of energy in the morning!!
LOVE both.. altho some fruits I find goes better juiced and vice versa
I like both! Especially citrus juices and celery, but not mixed lol. Only way to go with smoothies is with a base of coconut water, hemp milk, or almond milk if you want a nutty taste great for breakfast. Don't forget to add extra stuff like Glutamine and some granola for fiber
Both. I can't choose between juices and smoothies. They both are so great!
Juicer can make more nutrition but blender can make smoothies more fiber. I think blender is easy to clean convenient for rush time in the morning.
I love this video because there is so much debate around both juicing and smoothies. I do both and love them both. Your insight was spot ON!!!!
I listened to this on my way to work and just having someones voice talk to happily and freely about fruits and veg is so refreshing! chic you are AWESOME
Video starts @ 1:41. You're welcome.
Thank you đ
I was struggling to get calories so now i make a calorie rich smoothie each day after i have my juice for breakfast! doing well on fully raw. almost 100% now
Love that you get your nutrition out of both juicing and smoothing your favorite veggies and fruits .
One of the best explanations on both processes. I like a nice balance of both myself.
I love making green smoothies, but, am going to start introducing juicing daily, too. This was very informative. I really enjoy all your videos. I feel so much better eating a mainly plant-based diet, with very little sugar, gluten and dairy. I drink hemp, almond, coconut and/or cashew milk. It is exciting to see how much more energy and vitality I have since I started eating more healthy. Thanks for all your videos. (Love your jewelry!!)
Woo hoo DAY 3 is here!! Are you guys excited?!
Amazing how you can feel the difference immediately when eating/drinking raw., the life (enzymes) feels like a iddy biddy electric 'buzz' of energy all over. Life! :- )
So excited...I'm a smoothie girl. I have a blendtec at home..I would like to have a slow juicer..for now I have a jacklalannes juicer ..but I don't juice very often in it fearing of losing nutrients. Thanks for what u do.. U look gorgeous in today's outfit :)
very exited!!
So excited. Tus recetas son deliciosas Kristina. Gracias por compartirlas con nosotros!!
Ye
Excellent video Christina!!!
Hey Kristina, I just wanted to thank you for all the wonderful videos. You really are my go to person when I have questions about eating raw foods. You have so much wonderful information! Thank you for keeping your channel going for all of us and building such a wonderful library of information for everyone to go to!
Smoothies ...you get everything in it,the whole fruit
Soooo trueđđđđ
No you get everything in juicing
@@joliearanda6481 No, you are missing the fibers, among other things.
Yes, you're absolutely right. All
have a 300$ juicer but finding smoothies in a 20$ blender is working better for me haha.
I admire the way you give a professional presentation. You add enough information
to have credibility. Many or most of your recipes look so good. I called my sister to
look at your recipe for the layered cake. Fantastic !!!
both for sure! I can't ever choose, cause just like you said they both have their benefits
Love smoothies! Love juices! Smoothies are so filling. Juices are so sweet and clean. Such a hard pick!
Girl, your bracelet game is slayying
ive been wondering this. thank you kristina!
Thank you for explaining the difference, Kristina!
smoothies are yummy, but i prefer juices! they are so fresh and i love the sweet flavors to them! smoothies can get a little too thick for me sometimes, but juices never gets too thick or gooey! i love seeing your colorful recipes
I feel the same way.
@@jayb.4842 i like smoothies wats ur problem
Wow....you're so clear in explainig stuff!!! Love your channel
I get this question ALL the time! I will be "sharing" this one for sure!
They are both beneficial, thanks for the info kristina
Would love to do juices, but considering I can only afford the cheapest of blenders,
I will be happy with smoothies for now.
I have Crohn's, so having a gentle way to get fibre in me via smoothies is great for me...
although I would really love to do juices when I'm going through a flare and really need to get a nutritional punch,
considering I have had a section of bowel removed and my absorption is really poor.
turn to 1.25 speed if you want her to talk normally
Oliver CZcams this actually helped LOL
people like you give me hope
Your mind is racing, enjoy the present moment..
This made a huge difference!
Iâm soo done why did this help.
Luv them both! Great video, thx Kristina!!!
Happy to know the difference and the advantages and disadvantages of each. It really helps in deciding which diet suits us better
Kristina, I canât wait to become a raw vegan! After over a decade of failing at being vegan, I have finally successfully done it! I have been a vegan for 3 months. Iâm so happy. I donât miss meat. Iâve only craved it twice. I feel so healthy and alive. Iâve lost so much weight and am no longer bloated. Thank you for being a great help and inspiration. Your videos are very helpful đđŸ
DAY 3 Recipe is the FULLYRAW AVOCADO MANGO NOODLE SALAD here: www.fullyraw.com/challenge_recipe/the-fullyraw-mango-noodle-avocado-salad/ ... Who's hungry?! This is one of my FAVORITE dishes of ALL time! Enjoy!
I have to wait for dinnerđ„ but am excited, only made once before and loved it.
This looks so yummy! I can't wait to try it :)
yum! I love it
Aww can't find mangos at this time! But i'll use something else :3
Simple but delicious recipe...added a thumbnail of ginger to spice up the mango dressing, made it spicy and warming for the winter!
I love both & the pictures you showed looks amazing!
I love how smoothies help to keep you fuller longer! They are definitely my favorite!
I love spinach smoothies. When you process it in a high speed blender for a couple minutes with fruit and water, it releases the naturally occurring thylakoids, which coat food and block the enzymatic insulin reaction in the stomach and allows the food to stay in tact until it reaches the intestines, where it can be processed as energy instead of stored as fat. Like a natural version of gastric bypass surgery.
I love spinach soooo much, keep it up. I grow a lot of that.
Doesn't any leafy greens do that tho?
Jill Prince .. wow, that's interesting. Just had spinach in my smoothie this morning đł
Like both
Love your video Kristina!
Delicious recipes, thank you! How refreshing too - thank you!
I want you to adopt me and feed me that beautiful stuff you make.
hahaha
Hey be careful I need her to adopt me to and everyone ,she is Mary the Virgin and we're her sons well in my dreams
Hhhahaaa
Hahahahhaha same
Same here
8 days water fasting, than 90 days juicing, than 90 days smoothie its absolutely amazing. Than fully raw food forever â„
Olivia Cullen whatâs your Instagram? Iâm doing the 100 day juice fast & I would like some input of which recipes work for me. đ
And stay away from urban areas !
I bet you're not raw vegan anymore lol
@@nuaso7143 What? Urban areas?
Thanks for the info Kristina!
I love your kale, basil and orange juice smoothie! Seriously my fav!
I've only done smoothies, I've never juice and do not own a juicer. A juicer seems really expensive for the machine plus making juice is costly, so I've not made the investment. I love my vitamix.
I have a Vitamix, too, Michelle!
Video starts at 01:40
So interesting to watch! Love it!
I love your videos! You are inspiring!!!
Actually, I love to mix orange and/or lemon juice with my smoothies. It's the best of both worlds, LOL.
Both. Ginger, tumeric and lemon shot in the juicer with a hint of black pepper. Breakfast is a carrot, celery, mint, apple, ginger and cucumber juice. Lunch is a smoothie with kale, berries, mango, flaxseeds, amla powder. Dinner a cooked vegan meal, job done!đ
I like both! Thanks for posting this video.
Agree, both are great with their individual benefits throughout the day. Extremely well explained. Thank you!
I like smoothie cuz I don't feel like I'm wasting food
Great point about "chewing" and letting the smoothie/juice mingle with the saliva. So important but didn't even cross my mind. I'm going to do a 60 Day Reboot a la Joe Cross's "Fat, Sick and nearly Dead 1 & 2". The reboot is undeniable and I already love smoothies with kale, celery, pears, carrots etc and the fiber fills me up. BUT...I need that initial weight lose motivation that juicing will provide. I can already tell moving to a 70/30 raw to animal protein diet will be easily sustainable. As much as I am a carnivore, I enjoy fibrous smoothies just as much and they are very satisfying. I'm buying a juicer because I don't own one yet but I have a standard Oster 12 speed all steel drive blender and IT MINCES EVERYTHING! I cut watermelon into chunks and it liquifies it quite effectively. So, if any of your fans are on a tight budget, the Oster blender (with the glass carafe) does a great job and goes for between $27 to $37. Also, clean up is sooo quick because you're using just about all of it. Thank you Kristina and keep up the great work!
Very informative! Thanks Kristina!
Great Info! I'll continue with both!
Just ate an entire pineapple while watching this video
That's a nice change from trolls commenting about eating baconđ
+Alisha Juma yeah it is XD
+Rachel Harris I'm jealous! :P
awesome
I hate pineapple xD, grapes ftw đ
Smoothie
I'm so glad you have fully raw juice xxDDD
This is one of the best ten minutes I've spent in months. A lot of practical information there. Thanks, and 'yeah baby!'
I like both! I think we need both.
BeautyFunFreedom ii
I have a tendency to crash and need a nap after having a juice.
Best and logical description, really helpful. Thanks
I've always wondered about juicing, good job kristina!
I think you need both definitely if you don't like eating veggies
Is your make-up fully organic and raw?
Boris Ć lechta đđđ why do you guys mess with this girl so much.
Yes!!! Definitely i'm a fan of Both!! Thanks FIG girl!

Yeah baby :-)
Very informative. Thanks Kristina!
this is a super helpful video! thanks kristina! :)
a very clear and precise instruction for green smoothies lovers.
Smoothies will always be better, juices create nutrient overdose
I have a friend that healed his cancer with juicing for a year.
I Like Smoothies. Juicing Is The Definition Of Extra
@@CuriousCat777 You're funny
There are nutrients bound to the fiber. Quite a significant number of nutrients are lost in the juicing process, what a waste. And why promote such a thing when the people are seriously lacking in fiber? 97% of americans are not getting the daily recommended intake of fiber!
+jbmop yes many people lack fiber but fiber is not hard to add to ones diet. when you juice a plant you are literally making a extract. It is very potent much more than just throwing it in a blender. They both by far are worth doing and have their place.
+WaterspoutsOfTheDeep In which case is it worthwhile? You're wasting fiber, and much of what you paid for. In either case, you can get more than enough nutrients with a proper balance of whole foods like greens, other vegetables, berries, other fruit etc.
jbmop
You are not wasting what you paid for. You are getting an extract. You'll feel less full but you;ll absorb more nutrients compared to if you blended it. I've heard upwards of 4-8 times better absorption. Yes you are wasting fiber but that is like saying you are wasting air. It's pretty plentiful. Like I said getting fiber in ones diet is not hard.
Also it is much easier to get therapudic levels of nutrients in you juicing. You have extract pounds and pounds of produce and be able to consume it which you wouldn't be able to if you just ate or blended the produce. That is why juicing is far superior for health purposes. A person can eat a apple easily and or something else for fiber.
But you don't have a juicer you can always blend your stuff extremely well then pour it in a jelly bag, or clean paint strainer bag or old pillow case and squeeze out the liquid. Juicing is a lot more work but is by far worth it if you are dealing with health issues.
+WaterspoutsOfTheDeep The whole idea of an extract is wasteful.
+WaterspoutsOfTheDeep People are generally overweight and lacking fiber. feeling full is Ă good thing, and so is fiber.
I love both.....I get asked this question all the time!! Thanks for the great video.
I didn't know this info and I enjoyed it!
I'm so fascinated by this! I never knew the difference!
I love both and think they are both amazing in their own ways.
Another great video...so much info....love it!!
Glad I found this channel. Very informative!
Both!! Love juicing for when I'm sick or detoxing. Smoothies for meals.
i didn't know all of this stuff, it is really useful
Very informative, thank you Kristina!
Lots of love
Juicy and smooth advice. Thank you!
Both are awesome!! Thanks!!
I love making green smoothies in the morning for breakfast as well as having juice too. I mixed both depending what I feel like having. Both are just so delicious to have throughout the day.

I think I'll try both recipes...they look delicious!
I make, and love both!! Excellent information.
I love both of them. I think that it depend on personal need. I drink juice in the morning before breakfast and smoothies before and after workout. and sometimes for breakfast
Thanks Kristina!! I found this very informative!!
I love both, I need the fibres of the smoothie to clean my gut and the natural sugar rush of the fruit to get me going again mid day before picking up the kids from school!!!! You are awesome for giving us the deal on both! Keep the inspiring messages!
wow this is awesome! I always wanna find out which one is better. Tks so much.
