Ghost rider, a movie bout an angel of judgement who determines innocent an guilty, if innocent the person gets to leave, but guilty he eradicates an sends them straight to hell, now the angel went mad an there for was cast as a demon, but he was made to kill demons, so when he was released he hunted the guilty at night an was a man in the day, of course when the demons got loose, the person Nicolas Cage was acting as, decided to not give the ghost rider back to the devil, an swore to use the power he had to destroy the devil, thus making a new slew of scenarios for the ghost rider to take care of, cause if he goes after people the humans would of course see him as a monster, thats at least what i think anyway
Edit: an yes he sold his soul cause his lover died an he wanted to kill the guilty, thats what the comics did the movies did something entirely different i think
