Virginia : The 50 State Pursuit

- The 50 State Pursuit is a great American adventure that embodies the sportsmanship of old. This journey unfolds the narrative of the different species, methods, age-old traditions, and the people that pursue both the aquatic and terrestrial game in each and every one of their respective states.
Our lenses aim to capture each state's personality crafted through the stories and experiences of the people that call it home. This is the new original series, the 50 State Pursuit.
In this episode we take to the state of Virginia which we have named the "Original Waterway". We start out on the east coast with the Chasing Tides Collective where we chase after Cobia, redfish, and Sheepshead. We then found ourselves in the perfect evening catching a wave on surf boards.
We then moved inland in the beautiful hardwood and mountain landscape in search of native brookies. The diverse scenes of Virginia proved to be stunning. Afterwards we hopped on our raft alongside Joe Revercomb to track down both smallmouth and musky on the fly!
Join us as we take across the country one state at time exploring each state. Send us your suggestions for each state and we will see if we can make it happen!

Starting off with my home state. Pretty much nailed what it is to fish Virginia in the spring/summer. If you want to fly fish all of Virginia it is justifiable to have everything from a 2wt to a 12wt and possibly use those two extremes mere days apart.
Awesome! Glad we could do a decent enough job showing the state off! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!
