Man my brother and I grew up on bill dance. He sure taught us a lot. Went fishing before school and after school. Still fish a couple times a week. When I hear the theme song I grin ear to ear! Thanks for being a great role model!!!

Interesting concept using an octopus hook on a crankbait. I'm changing over one of my crankbaits as I watch. Will have to put it to the test in the spring, unless the water stays ice free a little longer here.

I’ve often wondered why crank baits or jerk baits came with trebles, when all other baits use single hooks.
The trembles swing up and cup the bait and hold on the body while the bait is in motion. A single hook swings all over.
It is extremely difficult to fish the crankbait the way Bill is in this video. A shallow square bill will do the same thing .
So they hang up on everything, sales.

Hello Bill, njoyed the vid, HAPPY NEW YEAR, what were those hooks you were using on that Bandit crankbait, I’m going to try it on Lake Lanier in February during my tournament, it seems like a great alternative to treble hooks, I can’t wait to meet you one day, you have ALWAYS been my mentor when it comes to bass fishing, and fishing period, as so, I learned my hookset from you , and till this day, I call it “MY BILL DANCE HOOKSET”, Love ya Bill and stay safe.

What size hooks are those circle hooks? I love that concept cause where I fish here in pa there is a lot of debris in the water

Bill,Had a question.The hooks you are using are turned different, The eyes in your package are turned flat,and the ones that you buy with that number,are turned different.I hope that makes sense.Cant put a circle hook on a crankbait,the eye is wrong
