    In electral powder small packet sodium chloride is 0.5g and Sodium Citrate is 0.5g. So if we calculate solely quantity of Sodium, we will get 0.4g only. Also BCAA contains 0.3-0.5mg of sodium. So how can you even compare them on the basis of sodium.

      True in fact my doctor friend suggested that I should avoid the intake of bcaa n replace it with ors in 1 ltr of water.
      N trust me it really works especially during my running sessions.

    Mr.Gaurav, diuretic are not under banned category. It is commonly given to hypertensive patients. But the video is informative to all those who consume electral blindly. As you mentioned salt and banana is enough to regulate electrolyte. Keep posting such informative videos

    bhaiyya I still take only one pre-workout. That is one spoon of honey with a pinch of salt. It gives me the best pump especially when I do shoulders or arms. :)

    Potassium is not the issue, the main problem with electrol powder is the sodium present not the potassium, our daily potassium intake should between 2.5 - 3.5 g but we only need sodium 2.6 g , so if you taking electrol for no reason then you're exceeding the sodium intake, not the potassium, In one banana there is approx 0.3 - 0.4 g potassium it not that much, so there will be unbalance but because of sodium not the potassium. 1 electrol pack contain 2.6 g of sodium chloride ,1.5 g of potassium , 2.9 g of sodium citrate and 13.5 g of dextrose.

    I sweat more than most people in the gym (no underlying disease). When I started working out, I observed a lot of muscle cramping and I used to get thirsty a lot. No amount of water seemed to quench my thirst. Consulted a doctor and he told me it's dehydration and suggested me to take a small (5 gm) sachet of Electral every couple of days when working out. Haven't faced any issues since. If you face similar issues, you can go ahead with a little Electral every couple of days. But as said in the video, don't go about gulping Electral just for the sake of the pump. It WILL have severe consequences in the long run.

      True, I used to have cramping specially on leg days, turns out I was getting dehydrated so I started taking ORS every 7-10 days.

      I have same problem like you. I am beginner in gym . I have to take 2-3 days gap to overcome soreness and cramps.. I will try your tip.. lets see if gaps reduces by 1 day🤔

      @@cryptoboi9584 What you are saying is talking on recovery aspect of it, if you are not recovering properly then you will have soreness and cramps. What I face with is cramping during workout.

    Bro I recently watched a video which said that BCAA also creates amino acid imbalance because the remaining EAAs (other than Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine) are taken by breaking other muscles to complete the protein. Would really appreciate if you make a detailed video to clarify the same. Much appreciation from an old fan. ❤️

      You are right but, here's a catch. We always use small quality of BCAA while working out in gym . And after that we use EAA whey protein throughout the day.so everything is balance.and body is soo intelligent that it just reject if anything is over. Anything excess doesn't participate in reaction.(chapter-1- chemistry-class-11-CBSE board) If you know what you are consuming then go ahead. Or else just talk to a good Nutritionist before trying anything other than normal food.

    as a person who works in pharmacy, i always warn gym people to not take electral during workout but they dont listen to me. they will just say "tu bodybuilder ko sikha rha hai" i guess they have to suffer the losses.

    Potassium depletion is as relevant as Sodium loss. It causes muscle cramps, fatigue, migraine and blackouts. I found out the hard way that with sodium hydration it was not solving the problem of migraine, fatigue, cramps and eventually blackout. It was not until I tried taking electoral that helped in fixing the acute fatigue condition, otherwise I was forced to take rest for couple of hours and sleep it out. Later when i got myself checked I found I have hypokalaemia. Potassium Citrate supplementation helped. Frequent urination was not due to drinking lot of water alone, but hypokalaemia. I found having Electoral in water during workout helps in avoiding any onset of such symptoms, and it provides the energy to get you through the workout. I have stopped taking creatine as told by Dermatologist as it was not aiding DHT blocking prescription i am on. So Electoral comes as a life saver. Have 1 whole packet in 1 litre of water at gym. it works.

    Although it's not much beneficial to use Electral as energy source during normal workout, it does help in replenishment of Na, K & Cl which gets excreted during extreme sweating. But the main problem here is Sodium overload, not Potassium, if taken too much electral. Bcz the sodium content of Electral is on the higher side.
    And yes the normal sweat consists of Na, Cl, Mg and K (potassium) too. Don't misguide people. A normal wikipedia search can show that.

    Sometimes we get Cramps in muscle during workout.
    My trainer advised me to add a little bit of common salt on water.
    He himself takes electoral as he too gets frequent muscle cramps.
    We both have lean muscle body.
    I have also taken electoral twice, no cramps till date as such.
    Does R.O. water make electrolyte imbalance ?

    That is why I only take a pinch or half teaspoon of rock salt in a half litre of bottle and drink that as an intra-workout. Works amazing, actually better than BCAA for me. Slightly elevates my blood pressure too which gives me a better pump and energy.
