We waited months. We’ve finally found the true standout song of Eurovision 2018. This is a song with edge, mystery, and jazzy influences, paired with an incredible voice. Above all it has incredible depth, and staging potential. Believe me when I say that for the first time this year, we may be looking at a winner.

As I said in many of my comments, Belgium is slowly become the "new Sweden" (as results). This song is the prove of this exponential grow of Belgium! It's becoming a very strong country in ESC!
I checked the results for the years between 2012-2017 for Belgium and Sweden.

According to your analysis you are right. It seems like Belgium have found a good formula to send girls who have Lana Del Rey as influence and Sweden in a opposite way send boys with dance pop songs. My opinion is that the last year contribution from Belgium was absolute number 1 and even this year Belgium is definitely a top 5 in the competition. But Im also a little bit weak for the swedish contribution this year and Im not sure Belgium will beat Sweden (good looking guy and many girls in Europe will vote) I guess Belgium somewhere between 1-10 and Sweden betwen 5-15.

She should have gone to the finals. If she was placed in the other semi she could have had an chance since this was basicaly the whole ''east zone''. my country will most likely vote for israel , but i am not a fan of grabbing an issue and lifting on it to get points. if i could choose i would give both greece and belgium 11 points can't chooce between them at this point but it's all how you can perform live on stage so probably that makes it easier.
shame this amazing song will go relatively unnoticed because it didn't qualify for the final, meaning people who didn't watch the semi-finals of the contest likely wont ever hear it :/
