    So this doesn't work for me sadly, but i FINALLY had mine working after following the instruction from an answer on reddit titled "bootrec /rebuildbcd "the requested system device cannot be identified" " it didn't work at first but then i changed the boot option in bios to the 2nd of windows boot whatever (there are 2 option of the same name, but apparently the 2nd one was a windows recovery one), save the changes and then it works! if you're having the exact same error this might help you :)

    This fixed my computer. The hardest part for me was using another computer to download the windows installation media onto a usb stick. My other computer didn't want me to download the program. Fixing that was a challenge for me and got me pretty frustrated. After that I followed the steps exactly. I got a couple different results toward the end of the steps. Once I rebooted the computer though it went back to how it was before the crash. Thank you very much for saving my computer. It's been 2 yrs since I cloned my hard drive so I was shocked to have this happen.

      SOLUTION:
      On another pc, install Macrium Reflect Free and create Macrium Rescue Flash Drive.
      Boot from flash drive, and select "fix windows boot problems" and follow instructions.
      And that’s literally it, super simple, only thing is you need to link a google account for a 30 day free trial but it’s very easy

    Amazing tutorial!! I had to re-do it one time because I didn't renamed the right system partition. Gladly I looked on the comments and our hero had the solution:
    "Important !!! >> Find a partition labeled ESP or EFI with a size of 100 MB. Remember it (the size and name of the partition may differ depending on the version of Windows, but the main thing is that its file system must always be FAT32)."

    | +++++++++++. || Windows 7 | Windows 10 | DATA ++++++++++++ ||
