  • In this video I talk about how to safely store your gold and silver. If you own physical gold and silver then you know how important it is to keep your precious metals safe. I review a new product that enables you to safely bury your gold and silver underground and easily retrieve it whenever you need to and it is called the dirtyman safe. Dirtyman Safes are a system which helps you quickly pull your safe out of the ground even if it is buried deep underground. Dirtyman Safes are water proof and not able to be picked up by metal detectors. I buried my dirtymansafe only 30 inches deep and it was not able to be picked up by my metal detector. If you want to keep your silver and gold from being stolen this dirty man safe system is a must. This is NOT a Liberty Safe! There is no passcode for this safe it is simply undetectable. You can bury silver coins, silver bars, junk silver, gold coins, gold bars, and much more easily. Don't forget to use the code below for a discount on your Dirtyman Safe:

We got a five-foot PVC plastic pipe with a 6-inch diameter for free by asking at a local tradesman yard. The PVC is at least 1/8 inch thick. They have odd lengths leftover from jobs that they cannot use. Ask nicely and they are happy for you to take it off their hands.

@markanders250 Or even worse, if you get a company that wants to scam you they can insert a GPS inside the tube lol or insert a metal that they can pick up only on their metal detector. Even worse go to the address it was shipped out to a week after shipping and look for "disturbed" dirt in their back yard. Either make your own or have a hidden fireproof indoor safe.

It is still a strange and frightening idea to, for example, place 2 kilo of gold coins and bars in a plastic tube and burry it just in your garden with just 20 Centimeter of gravel and earth above it and hide that knowing when you lay in your bed knowing someone can walking in your garden not knowing that there is a treasure closeby. So this versus a safe in your house where no one can easily reach it if hidden and protected properly it and why choose your precious metals litterly burying to literally leave so terribly much money outside. Which can literally be picked up by someone that is suspecting something if he briefly saw you digging and the place still fresh, why just digging somewhere a hole in the ground? ". So why is literally burying them outside considered a safer option than having to go through multiple layers of security in the house before they can get to your precious metals?
It seems to me that the only reason to bury it in your garden is to mislead thieves in the sense of making them think that you are not so stupid as to actually put over a ton and a half up for grabs as a disguised method of security.

    • @Billfish57
      @Billfish57 Před měsícem

@@LennardA320 Or, you could do something almost no Americans are capable of these days and "think for yourself". Dig way deeper, in many locations, install some landscape plants at the same time to disguise locations and reasons for digging, spread washers or small steel balls all over yard to screw with metal detectors, waste thugs time, detectors that won't find much down in a 4 foot hole anyway, and think about a few other tricks. The number one thing is tell no one what you are doing. Depends how much money is at risk, with half a million or more, lot's of things can be done on your own if one is capable of thinking, but almost no one is anymore. Also, have a small stash to give up if thugs place a shotgun in your wife's mouth, you will have to give them something to get them out of there, so make it a small stash, not the mother load or use several locations, you need to break up that stash. Use other people's ideas without copying them, think, adjust and optimize is the secret to success in life. Don't act like a robot counting on others for help. Think for yourself.

Rather than metal detectors, the feds use ground-penetrating radar (GPR) when they are looking for buried items. It's no longer expensive. While I doubt authorities will ever search my property for buried items, if they want to, they can easily find them. However, the subject product (or a homemade ABS version) looks pretty good for securing items from casual thieves. Unfortunately, it may also keep surviving heirs from finding their inheritance.

As far as defeating metal detectors, thats pretty low on my threat list, but if it weren't, I'd consider pouring a rebar rich slab of concrete (maybe a foot by two feet) over the safe and then extract the safe around the slab. Overkill, no doubt. Or dig out and install the safe into a phony septic access port. Who's going to stick their nose into one of those ? Good job on the video.

Odds of another person metal detecting would be minimal I think. If that is in the ground for a long period of time, I don’t think you are going to easily pull it out. The handle would break in your hand before that tube comes out. The ground compresses and settles, tightly holding whatever is buried

    1) I want to see a test with the cable as close to the detector as that bar.
    2) This is too easy to find by digging, the handle defeatst the main purpose. The best application would be some SERE kit that you need to get to really fast, otherwise dig more than you can reach with your arm.
    3) Too expensive. You can buy a simple plastic tube and caps. If uneasy about water, put several layers of sealants, maybe a second container inside, which doesn't need to be as sturdy.
Do include a rope of sorts but leave it down there and you can burry it vertically to lower the highest point. Be mindful of layers of soild you are extracting, put them back in order. And save the grass, it's the most visible short term. If you can find any metal trash in the area, put some in there, not too deep. You can leave other trash in between as a mark that you are digging in the right place. If digging not on your property for long term, make sure to have directions based on landmarks unlikely to move/disappear, ideally several for redundancy. Do leave some metal around but not exactly around that spot, in fact, it's better if the spot is on the side of the baited area. Choose a low traffic location and make sure you are not being tracked, SLLS halts are useful for that.
All this info is gathered from yt, I have not tested any of it yet.

It depends on many factors. Soil conditions (mineralization, trash, moisture, etc)...machine settings (sensitivity, ground balance, discrimination, frequency, etc)...target type/size/conductivity/orientation...also the environmental EMI (electro magnetic interference) will affect machine performance. I have found a shovel head in an old tailing pile about 36" deep. Generally speaking, most machines are going to struggle beyond 8" unless it is a large target. If you plan on pissing the wife off and burying it in the front yard, scatter a bunch of iron shavings, nails, washers around the area to help mask the target. Better yet empty out the whole kitchen junk drawer around the front lawn. It's a win win with the wife....the iron will make the lawn nice and green and the wife gets an empty drawer in the kitchen!

    Quick parts look up reveals
    - 2ft 4" ABS = $25
    - 4" End Cap and Threaded Cleanout = $17 each
So $59 and you DON'T yet have the outer sleeve, sleeve top, stainless cable, cable coupling top, pull handle or glue. So all that might run u another $50 (if you could sourced it).
So this unit is fair priced given retail pricing probably about a 33% mark up. Not bad. IMHO
