This is simply marvelous! I recall saying to myself, about 3 or 4 seasons ago, I wonder if Dr. Gates would ever do non celebrities? How do you get picked ? I've always wanted to have this done, especially learning more about my father's side of the family. Maybe he'll consider doing a whole season of non celebrities. Good job Dr. Gates!

I've done both Ancestry DNA and MyHeritage DNA tests. So far, I've only found my second cousin. It seems no one I am closely related to has taken a test.

@@daisy9910 I believe some of the ethnic peoples from North Africa, bordering the Mediterranean, can be quite a mix of looks and coloring. I guess because of the thousands of years of trade, war, and inter-breeding. (What is now modern day Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Libya.) Such interesting ancestry!!
