The beautiful thing about this is the fact that God knows who he created us to be, and he knows what gifts and talents that he wants to give us. Everything is in divine order. Her grandfather lost the family farm, and the family moved to New Jersey, where the family had opportunity to grow their careers in music and be who they are today. I’ve been to Blakely Georgia, and had the family still been in the area, there would be no Dionne Warwick as we know her, there would be no Cissy Houston as we know her, there would be no Whitney Houston as we know her, there would be no Drinkard Singers as we know them, and there would be no Dee Dee Warwick as we know her. This is a true testament that God really does bring beauty through pain.

I am looking for help. I have been working on tracing my ancestors on my biological father's family line through his paternal grandmother a woman named Lura Bass. I can find ancestors back to my 8th great grandfather, a man named William,the Elder, Bass whose mother was Elizabeth ( a Namsemond native woman) but his father is listed as a sub-saharan African man with a specific DNA marker of A-m31. How can I try to find this man?

This has some inaccurate information. In Tracy Morgan’s DNA results it says 5% Jewish-Peoples of Europe. Some Jews did live in Europe as part of the Diaspora. But they were not considered European. Henry Louis Gates Jr. also refers to Tracy Morgan’s Great Grandfather as “Half White.” Jewish people are not White nor European. The Jewish people are Indigenous to the Middle East and have existed longer than the concept of race.
