I clean houses and was wondering if it's better to do the color dip or do the regular dip and then use a gel polish and cure? I've been using press ons for the past year or so but obviously they're not cutting it but regular nail polish was always chipping 😭

I usually do my dip powder and tips one day and gel polish the next. But my dip powder chips. Why? Also how would you fill dip powder instead of starting over? Also, is it true that you shouldn’t need to file the tops of your nails.

Do they hold better with the gel base under the fake nail ? And can you use any kind of gel to do this method ?
I find the gel stays better and I don’t have to wait for it to dry. Just flash cure in place and move on to the next tip. You can use any gel the cures. I’ve seen people use polygel, builder gel, topcoat and so on. Thank you for watching!

Sometimes, but most often I just remove the set and do a new one. I tend to only wear my sets for a week and then film a new video. TFW!
