Rules changed team's can't afford to have 3 max contract players. I don't see MPJ improving, he leaves a lot to be desired in both offense and defense , and there is big injury risk with him. I wonder what his stats would be if he didn't play with the best player in the world along side him. All he does is shooting open 3's and catching Jokic dimes for easy points.
With those new rule changes you mention, that’s why a lot of people think this summer there will be a lot of movement from certain teams to get under certain tax aprons etc. I don’t agree that he won’t improve, I think he certainly can he has the talent, but the injury risk is definitely something to consider.
They need Bruce brown and Jeff green
Lmao good observation
Someone said Bruce Brown and Kelly Olynyk
Well Bruce Brown we know was awesome for them .. but Olynyk actually not a bad idea I like that pickup
Yea, I think he’s at his ceiling and underwhelming, in a Tobias Harris of the West way. Might be tough to get a team to see much more potential in him. (Someone said he might be distracted and struggling because his brother went to prison or something? I havent heard anything about that otherwise…)
It’s always hard to tell when a player is a third option on their team and given that role young/before their prime years, but at the same time MPJ obviously had a lot of back injuries which may be part of why his ceiling ends up being lower
I don't see them trading MPJ.
Maybe not but just something to consider!
They should trade him if they can get a better player / players. Too much burden is put on the starters to carry the season, for MPJ they could get 2 solid players that would solve bench problem.
If he wasn't so injury brown I think he would be a good fit in Minnesota who needs to move away from KAT. KCP would be nice too.
Well I don’t think Denver would want KAT in return for MPJ not a good fit .. KCP would be awesome on Minnesota though
MPJ was bad shooting in the last playoffs but he was good on defense. This year he was bad on both ends of the floor. I like him but sadly he seems to get worse in the postseason
He had some good games in this playoffs.. in the Lakers series he was on fire and super efficient. In the next series obviously he wasn’t as good.. but so you want them to trade him?
@@VitalScoops I don't you can touch Murray or Gordon and the team might not be able to retain KCP so is anyone is gonna be traded is him. Maybe they can wait another year, see how the rookies improve and decide to run it back, but if that doesn't work there's not many options left. It also depends on what's on the market
"We don't need Bruce Brown, we have Peyton Watson/Christian Braun" (tbh I can't remember which one was mentioned lol) that take really aged poorly, not that it was a good take to begin with.
Onto the topic of the video, I think FO will not trade MPJ as he is part of their core but I do think they'll most likely let KCP walk off this off-season so they can be a bit more flexible on their options.
Really KCP?? I couldn’t see them moving him he is so invaluable to the team.. he is one of their best defenders and he seems to always hit the timely shots and a good veteran presence
Magic better not trade Suggs lol
He’s been developing nicely for sure so I get why you would say that.. it’s just inevitable that one of those guards will eventually have to go Bc they have so many.. but it doesn’t have to be Suggs!
Would Brooklyn give Mikal Bridges to Denver for MPJ ?
I’m not sure they would Bc Denver’s picks aren’t going to be “super valuable” (I use quotes Bc you can find good players anywhere in the draft) but Bc they have Jokic and a good team their pick will be bottom first round typically so idk that it makes sense for them
How is this video so big
nice videos but just a suggestion film horizontally next time
Thanks!
