Noel really enjoyed this video would it be possible for you to do some sort of video on the fear of flying and some tips on how to combat it cheers
Thank you, I do have a resource on my website, check it out: www.noelphilips.com/fear-of-flying/
Hi Karl, sorry to butt I but I used to have a severe fear of flying up until 2013. I found some amazing resources out there that helped me understand how normal flying is and once I understood this it really helped. I’ve flown 30 odd times since and absolutely love it now so I just wanted to offer encouragement that it can be beaten. Feel free to contact if you want to know what worked for me, but watching Noel’s videos, especially his pilot blogs on the other channel will really help a lot I hope. Good luck in beating it 🙏
Thanks for the reply noel I also love the wizz air challenge keep up the good work
@@noelphilips What's happened to the resource? The page has gone belly-up.
Oh sounds interesting! Wizz Air isnt great :P@@karlbrown1233
I personally enjoyed how one of the flight staff/crew recognized you and wasn't afraid to come say what's up! Cool to know they are watching these videos and other aviation channels, yet I wouldn't expect anything different!
Most of us are mega avgeeks 😁🤓
@@christofferrosenlund4055 I think you'd be in the wrong profession if you weren't! Cheers.
Was he the pilot?
@@radioactiveranch9637 I believe he said he was "first for this flight" which I believe he is implying he is First Officer. I don't know how Air Senegal displays their ranks, but I was looking for stripes. It could be that he is also kind of the main cabin crew person, but I am thinking he is First Officer, so indeed a pilot. Please correct me if I am wrong.
@@RyanHorseHelmet I thought he said "Purser for this flight"
The Senegalese hospitality looks to be top notch. From the flight to cabs and even the hotel. Definitely would like to visit
it's part of their identity. They are probably the most hospitable people in Africa, and I am from a country where hospitality is not optional...
Another pleasant trip - thanks for bringing us along!
Thank you!
hi y’all are awesome 😎
Absolutely massive portions too! Don't think I've ever seen portions that big on an aircraft.
Standard portions for business class and first class when I was flying the last 40 years until Covid.
I am mega impressed with that airline, far better than I expected tbh. I have seen far worse from legacy carriers in Europe. I will 100% look to fly with them if they are on routes I am looking for. Well done to the airline and the staff who are doing their best
So much delicious food! I did a 30 min flight from Burlington to Montreal many years ago - cabin crew had minutes to hurtle up and down the aisle, lobbing packets of peanuts at us, then rush back to clear up, muttering 'just eat the damned peanuts, people, we're nearly there!' Ah, the luxury of travel.
We had a similar flight years ago between Honolulu and Maui, drink and nuts flying at us then hardly had time to drink before the containers were grabbed as the plane was starting its descent. We couldn’t stop laughing.
@@annettewalter2273 As if we can't survive 25 minutes without stuffing our faces. 🙂
Just thought I’d say for someone who has to manage mental well being issues in his own family, the positive attitude and language you use “….. this is going to be a good flight” is a refreshing and positive approach compared to more critical reviews…..and shows your sponsor is doing something right !
In my former workplace, all of the union reps (of which I was one) undertook "Mental Health First Aid" training, and it was one of the best things I've ever done. I've probably used it outside of work as much as in the workplace. Very much recommended for anyone who wants to support others.
If only I could apply it to myself 😝
Love the Senegalese hospitality so far, enjoy and stay safe.
Thank you for talking about mental health. As someone that deals with depression, anxiety, Bipolar and PTSD, I really appreciate what you're doing. Bravo Noel.
That’s mental mate
To each their own, but I am unsure how a guy that travels around the world for his "job" can be that down.
@@ParadisA330 You make assumptions based on appearances.
People of all walks of life find therapy beneficial for themselves, with halo benefit for their loved ones as well.
Also, people who don’t travel often think it’s glamorous - it’s not. It’s physically and mentally tiring, all while being separated from family and friends for extended periods.
Therapy is most often beneficial to find nurturing and sustainable introspection that builds confidence, and provides insight on how to interpret and manage all that comes at us in life…past, present and future.
Please don’t make a casual judgement by what you see in a vlog, by a vlogger.
@@ParadisA330 mate loads of rich people kill them selves got nothing to do with job, waffler
@Abdulaziz Mohammed Please leave mental diagnosis for persons with appropriate credibility and education.
Great video Noel. I wish U.S. airlines would provide this kind of service. Looking forward to your African adventures. Safe travels😊
HiFly crews are top-notch professionals. They work very hard.
I hope you make it to Ghana.
You'll enjoy the cuisine, historical sites like the slave Castles plus the hospitality of the people
You have the most down to earth, genuine personality, which makes your videos a pleasure to watch.
Thank you.
Thanks for another great upload mate! You make my days better, sat here on a chilled Sunday, eating my lunch, watching your videos! Already looking forward to the next one!!! Cheers Noel!
Chilled Sunday... Well in in the Netherlands it's already bloody hot 🥵.
@@sandrahekman5256 Ha! It's hot here in thr UK too!

Yaayyy another Sunday Noel adventure! Thanks for addressing mental health, it’s really important ❤️
Great video! What an amazing airline and a wonderful part of Africa. Lovely Senegal. Thank you for sharing this

I love your African adventures and am looking forward to this one. Air Senegal look a great airline, that seat looked very comfy. Another perfect Sunday treat
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic video! Always look forward to your travels. Very inspiring and informative.
Brilliant video, Noel! Your comment about the Rock had me chuckling. That meal was impressive indeed! Looking forward to your African adventure.
Noel your editing skills are off the scale I just love your content thank you ever so much Noel ❤️
I appreciate that!
Senegalese food is amazing, i'm not surprised that the food had a high standard.
I love your videos. so good to see a new airline and surprised to see just how good it was in all aspects. safe onward travels, im off to the pub for the hurling final lol
Thanks so much!
You are one of the most pleasant people to watch on the internet. Although you encounter many inconveniences and stressors, you are always polite and “mannerly,” without being effeminate. Refreshing.
Thank you for the kind words!
@@noelphilips you are so sexy
The A330-neo looks phenomenal, great livery from Air Senegal as well!
Another awesome video, thank you for giving us the opportunity to travel through your eyes, it's priceless.
Travel safe!!!!!
You bet!
Thanks for all the great videos. Keep up the good work, travel safe Noel. Best wishes to you 👍
This happened years ago but I got to meet in passing the simply aviation guys in Korea in what ended up being my last out of the country trip due to covid and due to losing my job a year later after the lockdown. Its amazing how just that meeting meant so much to me. I miss my flying around and I miss my friends back in Vietnam but well things happen. Love the video Noel and keep them coming.
Nice video. It reminds me the luxury traveling many years ago. Not so many airlines do it this way anymore.
Very excited to see you back in Africa Noel... Looking forward to more videos from the continent
Hi Noel, I greatly enjoy your videos, can not wait for your next adventure. Stay safe and healthy.
Awesome, Noel! I'm from South Africa and I hope you get to make your way here in the next few weeks.
Thanks Noel! Keep up that awesome work. Hope to hear from you soon. Fabulous channel.

Every video I watch, the more I want to fly, I haven't flown in over 10 year's now, it feels like it's about time again! :)
Great video Noel. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
Thanks, will do!
cheers noel, thanks for all the effort you put in, you and josh are my favourite flight vlogger's big luv from Birmingham west midlands keep it up looking forward to the African adventure.
Thanks 👍
Have a good trip Noel.
Love your videos. That Air Senegal plane is light years ahead of the Air Senegal DC3 that I flew in from Dakar to St. Louis and back! But that was a thousad years ago!!!
That looked a very impressive service indeed. Great to see another African carrier excelling. Would you have had the same amazing food offerings had you been sat in cattle?
Try out the local jollof rice if you see it 👍🏻
Yea A new series, Will be following.
Great vlog as always! Be safe!
That's one of the best ever inflight meals I have ever seen - it looked delicious
With that amount of food, I reckon I would be a hazard on the flight. If I ate it all, I think I'd explode, causing a giant hole in the plane's fuselage causing decompression, oxigen masks coming down, the plane starting an emergency descend, paniquing passengers and a lot of fuss afterwards.
😐
Great video - an airline I've never heard of! It's good to see your trips to places that I'll almost certainly never get to visit
The food looked amazing!
Watching this report made me miss Senegal so much! Great video and I am so happy you enjoyed your time in the beautiful country of Senegal.
Thank you so much!
After following Sailing Zatara on their African adventures last month, this will be a fun series to watch! Africa is beautiful continent.
Is it sad that I really loved the complimentary bag? Can’t wait to see your travels over the few videos 😀
Good flight, you're right about the food, comparing it to the BA/KLM long hauls i've done in the last month in J I would take the Air Senegal food every time.
Africa airlines to the world! Well done mate.
Me to love the a330 neo and i like the business cabin.Good job
Sadly missed you in Senegal Noel. Was there only 2 weeks ago. Great country with awesome people.
Noel thanks for the report, a very nice flight and a brand new plane .Air Senegal delivered very well, at least on her business class
Thanks for watching!
Great work as usual, Noel. I hope that you and the family aren’t too affected by the heat in the UK. Absolutely unreal from what I hear that it was 40 degrees c in London.
Hey 👋 from down under .
Thanks Noel awesome video.
Have fun . I will be watching from Melbourne.
Safe travels
Thanks for watching!
Great upload Noel, and finally registered myself for my mental health so all in all I'd say productive video.
Have a safe fun trip Noel can’t want to see your Africa adventure trips.
That was a lovely flight. All of the food, wow.
That was lovely to see the captain talking with you
That was actually the purser, but it was indeed nice of him to introduce himself.
Air Senegal now does DSS-JFK-BWI and back, definitely unique for BWI airport near Baltimore/DC which doesn’t get a ton of foreign traffic
Never though I would see Noel do the "Paris to Dakar" !
Great video. Always look forward to watching your channel.
I appreciate that!
Another great video, keep it up mate
Thanks 👍
Great video Noel again!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Didn’t have high expectations for Air Senegal so I’m pleasantly surprised, the A330neo looks good too! Great video Noel ☺️
Thanks a ton!
The food and space look amazing, definitely got your money's worth with air Senegal 🇸🇳
Really enjoyed this one. I'm going to Senegal in December so it was great to see the airport. Looking forward to your African series.

Great video! That food looked amazing
Thank you 😋 It was.
The food looked exceptional for the shortish flight, they look like a grreat operator, enjoy Noel
Looking forward to this trip 👍
Always love
Watching your videos, Noel. Thank you for taking us to places that I know I will never get to travel to. Oh, my husband likes the Loo Reviews, said Noel should make a magnet of it and put in his store. Cheers to you.
Another awesome video as always! I have a couple of questions for you since I've never or probably never will fly business class:
1. Do you get to keep the blanket they had out?
2. Do you get to keep the salt and pepper shakers?
1 I've taken one, once. This is not the norm haha and they don't appreciate it at all. (I'll blame it on my early 20's period)
2 Usually these are one time use so you can definitely take them
@@Travianingmar123 I wouldn't nick the salt and pepper shakers, those are definitely not single use! You could try asking the cabin staff. If they say yes, you don't need to walk off the plane feeling a bit guilty, and if they say no, you're no worse off! Remember they may have to account for every piece of equipment.
@@fluffyfour little nuance 'IF they are single use'.
Lovely Dakar...love to visit that part of the world...
Hope you have a fun trip. Looking forward to when you eventually check out Japan.
What a great video as always.
Glad you think so!
brilliant video noel on monday october 3rd im jetting off to orlando from manchester with virgin atlantic on the a350-1000 seat 24k and returning on the night of the 17th october with the a330-300 24k again
Really impressed with the Senaglese people .... very friendly. Not sure how you managed to eat all that food on the flight but it looked restaurant standard #delicious. Thanks for another great video
The food on that plane in better than what i get at home 🥲
I enjoyed this video very much, nice to see such a nice airline where it actually seems subtle
I’m surprised the plane can get off the ground with all that food and goodies! Looks like they take great care of their passengers. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Woah that’s so luxurious
Thank you for showing us their A330-900neo. I've seen their A330-900neo a couple of times in Baltimore. A lovely site indeed.
Many thanks!
