    It's cool to see a video like this. I'm an aircraft mechanic and I work interiors. I actually work an Alaska line. And we've been doing a lot 900ER. Video is awesome, I can show my wife what I do and how we fix things. Now abt the seats, I have no clue why they are built the way they are but hey, glad to hear they're comfy

    Probably 99% of the time, I fly Alaska Airlines now, with not a single problem, ever. When I've switched to one of the large, mainline carriers, problems seem to routinely arise and I feel like a tiny cog in their gigantic mechanism. You are right about the fruit and cheese platter. The cheese is locally made in Seattle along with the included chocolate. Fresh, tasty and not heavy. It's easy to pre-order on the app.

    I used to work with Alaska Airlines here at MSP. At that time they only offered 2 flights everyday to Seattle and that’s it. Overall they are a good airline to work for but, don’t work for their contractor GAT who handles their ground operations at MSP. The pay is low and you have to work a split shift. Also, I wish they offered more flights to here because Delta is extremely expensive to fly on from here and I’d prefer to fly on Alaska or American. I also went to Seattle for their gate agent training for 6 days. It was fun meeting the people who I was going to work with and overall the experience I had with them exploring Seattle. Personally, I wish the training was a little longer but, hey, it was a free trip with hotel and food included for those 6 days. Completely an all inclusive trip for me and my coworkers.

    • @realreviews4102
      @realreviews4102 Před 2 lety

      True, delta runs MSP for the most part as it’s their hub and their flights are painfully expensive. Always at least $300 . I wish they had more southwest or Alaska nonstop flights to msp from the west coast.

The planes, both Horizon and Alaska, are extremely clean, flight staff is exceptional, always smiling, some of the Fa's that work for United will rip your head off if you ask them a question, seen it happen. Every time I flew with Horizon the flight was on time. big thing for me, plenty of leg room, even in "economy", the "cheap seats" are more comfortable than any other airline I've been on!! I highly recommend them. Have a wonderful trip :-)
