Thanks for reminding me about Alaska’s upcoming entry into One World! I almost exclusively fly American or Alaska. I just flew American to Cabo and got a small bottle of water along with a bag of pretzels and a wipe. You’re right, Alaska goes all out to please their pax. Can’t wait for them to be One World! I’ve flown Alaska Airlines a couple of times from LAX to Manzanillo, Mexico. Always a great smooth flight, the attention the FA give you are always superb. This is def one of my fav Airlines to fly In

While I haven't flown in almost 6yrs,I do have a FC experience with Alaska--I didn't and still don't have the technical know-how to do a vid such as yours--check out my SEA-IAH run in November some years ago on my channel--this was before AS introduced their -900's on this route--wish Alaska had gone with Skyteam rather than oneworld--my understanding is that my AA miles will disappear if not used by a certain time period whereas with DL,my miles stay in my Skymiles account forever,never expire. Your cabin crew excelled at service,offering to take your picture in the aisle! I'm assuming you're over 21,could've chosen one of those 3 beers or the wine since you don't normally touch Coke.Beautiful scenery upon takeoff,living in Texas,I wonder why anybody would want to move away from Seattle--I'd move there in an instant if the cost of living wasn't so stratospheric!

I loved this report! Being from Brazil, I was fortunate enough to fly Alaska once, in the SAN-SEA route, aboard an older 737-700 (N609AS). Yet, it was an AMAZING flight. Looking forward to fly them again whenever it's possible!! Thanks for sharing this great trip report!

Great trip report! Back in 1999, me and my father flew with Alaska Airlines on board one of their old MD 82 aircraft which wasn’t bad because we flew first class. This was a round-trip flight from Los Angeles to Portland Oregon. Flying time was about 2 1/2 hours one-way. I loved it!!

I can’t wait to fly again, I at least tried to do some plane spotting at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport but surprising there was barely only one departure I saw in 2 hours lol

nice trip report! The last time I flew with Alaska was in 2015, but I didn't enjoy my flight though as the plane appeared to be very old indeed. I love the mood light of this plane, so relaxed

Thanks for the post. Personally the seats seem outdated compared to what American and Delta offer. But the industry leading legroom is a nice touch. What is your take?

I flew Alaska last Thanksgiving Break. Seattle was a nice airport. Our flight home was delayed for three hours that I got to enjoy the airport even more.
Flying Alaska (skywest) E175 in first class from Fresno to LAX next month. Will be my second time on Alaska and first time in first class. Looking forward to it!
I also love to fly Alaska Airlines when possible. I have flown them to Alaska five (5) times and Hawaii, yes... Hawaii, once. I watch QFS Aviation a lot and notice you must be around Quentin's age. How old are you and how is it you are able to fly do much ?
I've flown Alaska twice. Once roundtrip to Seattle from San Diego and another time roundtrip from San Diego to Newark. Really good airline, reasonable fares, not a whole lot of nickle and diming, good customer service. The planes they aquired from Virgin America are the best and most comfortable. Even though they took the tv screens out of those. All in all, good airline for the price you pay.
You should fly to RSW in SWFL later this year when Alaska starts non-stop service from SEA & LAX.

Hey great flight. Love the 900 first class. Do they offer a comfort plus like economy Xtra. Also did you fly down the coast. at what hight. Like 35.000. if I could ever charter a plane I would love the 737.900. can this fly to Honolulu I think it can right. Hey post more love the take off thanks.
Yes, Alaska has Premium Class, which is the first few rows of the main cabin, with extra leg room and other perks.
I miss the old Alaska airline interior, gives me such a nostalgic feeling from when I was little
I have a question about the elite status boost Alaska is doing right now. For flying in first class, is the boost only applying to the main 100% of mail you accumulate or does it also apply to the cabin bonus as well?
Is it able to mount the GoPro 7 on a normal window with filming though the same window at the same time?

Speaking of tough times, I recently had to call Alaska to purchase a ticket due to a discount code left on my last ticket that I canceled back in Feb. They thanked me so many times over the phone for being MVPG, something that wasn’t done before COVID. I guess they do value their customers more so than ever.
I have flown AAL 3 times from Tampa to Seattle and 1 time r/t Seattle to Las Vegas and found superior service and on time reliability.

I've flown like 10 times within the last few years, it feels more like taking a bus. Though I am not sure how much has changed since the covid plague.
I was not able to go to WDW this past June ( COVID-19 ) but when this pandemic is over, I want to fly Alaskan as much as I can to MCO . I don’t know if currently they do or not. Definitely flying First Class. 🥰💺🛫

Alaska's first class food options have improved since this video. Now offering a breakfast sandwich or fruit and cheese plate in the morning and a chicken curry wrap or fruit plate on afternoon flights and well as a warmed soft cookie and the snack basket later in the flight.
So is first class the same as business for this airline? I only see business for sale for $100 more than economy to Cancun from LAX.
I enjoy Alaska overall. They're not my preferred airline (that's Delta), but I've had good experiences every time I've flown with them. I've sat in first class for shorter trips and in premium economy for transcon. The FAs were always friendly and happy to be there. I'm not thrilled with their BYOD only entertainment and miss the VA screens and wish they had more food choices for longer flights, but I'd still fly with them.

Eseibio BYOD is "bring your own device." There are no seatback screens onboard, so the available entertainment is provided via WiFi to your own device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc).

All the snacks in the lounge, I’m getting one of each.
Really interesting to see they don't have a device holder or anything. Watching the 1st class passenger have to hold their phone to watch his entertainment.
Also, interesting tidbit. Those first class seats are on all of the old USair A321s and A320s, the back of the seat breaks off the seat very easily. I've been thinking how questionable the safety of those seats are. Even though they're wide and cushy.
On the newer retrofitted interiors (not this aircraft) first class has tablet stands as part of the tray tables.

I love the fact that they will be going all Boeing. I would fly them a lot more often if they were here on the east coast
