It still mystifies me that Peter Astor was never commercially successful. In my opinion he’s as big of a genius as Roddy Frame, One of the most underrated songwriters of all time.

My friend Piece Thompson ( guitar )played with the Weather Prophets for a spell in 1988 . Piece and Dave Goulding played together before Dave joined the WPs in a band called The Fuckpigs . Piece was also in Turkey Bones and the Wild Dogs . The Fuckpigs also included Razzle ( Hanoi Rocks ) and Scott Rushbury AKA Turkey Bones another dear close friend of mine from Perth as was Piece.
