You forgot the 4th way, the middle-aged-man way, as tight as possible all the way up and then pants/jeans over the shoe, now we're talking practical ;)
I've had mine for two years and only worn them twice because they're so tight across my instep and that's with the insoles out! Any tips on how to stretch them without causing me pain? I've got spinal problems and I don't need anymore pain! xx Edit: I got them stretched at a cobblers and they're still a bit too tight. I'm looking at the pair in the video and the pair I've got. The pair in the video look a lot deeper from the bottom of the laces down to the toes. I bought them from amazon and I've either been sent a kids pair or they're counterfeit. I've ordered some silk socks and bamboo socks to see if they will make wearing them any easier. I'd give up but they were £100, I'll be buying from a reputable retailer in future. Not that amazon isn't but I know people sell counterfeit items all the time! Thanks very much for everyone's advice, really appreciate it xxx
Kirsty Macfarlane they are def a boot that requires a lot of breaking in... you could maybe try and prebreak it in with a mold or something? Idk... usually they don’t get comfy until like 3 mo of wearing them
@@HighlyRegardted thanks, I spoke to the guy in at timpsons, a UK shoe repair chain, and he said that they'll stretch them for me. So I said I'll leave them for a week and he said that would be fine. It's really frustrating because I love them but when I buy them in the future I'll be going up a size!
Put thick socks on then put you're boots on in the house and walk around. When you're feet start to get sore, take them off. Keep doing that and they will soften Kirsty. I'm in the process of breaking in my boots I got for Christmas.
@@vixster7576 thank you, I put them into get stretched and after 2 weeks, they're much comfier but I still have to take out the insoles. I've got high arches so they were really tight where the laces end. I'm going to wear them with thicker socks now I can get them on without pinching my skin. Next time I'll be get a bigger size!

Put a water bottle inside then freeze them the water bottle will expand when freezing and should help stretch/break them in
