Ammonia is one of the key elements that enables us to keep the optimal temperature of our cold chain facility - the very essence of our RSA Cold Chain operations. However, ammonia gas is also a toxic substance that can affect the health of anyone exposed to high levels of this chemical.
Our recent ammonia leak drill is the perfect exercise to address two of our major safety objectives: the safety of disruptors, customers and visitors, and the safety of the products that our customers have entrusted us. Through this exercise, we aim to inform and prepare everyone of what to do in case of such situations, therefore establishing a safe working environment and efficient operations that will benefit everyone.
