I had this game as a kid. If ONLY the camera wasnt so crappy... we would have... probably not a classic or a hit, but it would certainly be a good enough game!!! It has potential. The visuals are pretty damn good for PS1. The music is kinda catchy. The gameplay itself seems Fairly OK, maybe a bit dull at times, but it isnt downright BAD. But... dat camera...No, just no...
I agree with you. This game isn't one of the worst games ever, but it certainly isn't a masterpiece by any means. The camera is very flawed, making navigation through certain areas, certain platforming sections and to avoid certain obstacles quite a bit of a chore. This game really could have been a killer, much like Psygnosis' other game Retro Force, that I used to love so badly, and I also wished that like Rascal, could have also been awesome. But in the end, they both turned out to be big flops, and while Retro Force is just left alone in the dark, Rascal continues to be heavily bashed and ridiculed upon for all the wrong reasons, despite our very different opinion on it.
I used to play this game on Sony PlayStation 1 when I was a child and I thought it was a very good game but the camera controls can be rubbish and controls can be very awkward as well. I don't dislike it but it's just not very good as the other Psygnosis PS1 games.
this is creepy o.0
how could I Play this as a child without getting nightmares? xD

Actually there are three angry security guards in this level. Oh and don't forget, two robots.
