      I have opened this first before heating, and it was always a mess! Thanks for your comments.

    Remove all ingredients from can , place in bowl or container and mix using a hand mixer for about 30 seconds , you’re welcome🏆✅

      Thanks for viewing this Channel and for your comment. In my colder climate, if the can is not heated, the contents have to be scraped out (some of it sticks to the inside can and is wasted) and it results in liquid with chunks of coconut cream when removed. That is why heating first is recommended unless you are in a very warm climate. Keep watching and commenting. Search CZcams "Belly Up Bar Cocktails" for over 400 cocktail videos. Thanks so much for this! I just opened my first can of coco lopez and i was wondering if it has gone bad bc it looked weird and curdled

      This is the very best product, but it really presents itself poorly if not prepared properly before opening. I used to open it, microwave it after digging it out with a spoon, but that unfortunate technique toasted it, and destroyed the white coconut creaminess that is at the heart of this product. Lots of hot water, shake it and listen for lumps, then open for best results... Thanks for viewing and your comment.

    How long do you find it stays good/fresh for in the squeeze bottle?

      It will last at least a month if refrigerated. Thanks for your comment. I Subscribed to your channel to help your effort. Keep watching...

    I just shake vigorously for a minute or two and it comes out looking much better

      My bar is in the colder climate so even after shaking it still has ugly lumps. I appreciate your comment. Keep watching!

      Just use a hand mixer for about 30 seconds and watch the magic happen , you’re welcome 😎🏆

    Just plan on stirring it when you open it…

      I used to stir it cold (for many years), and found it quite cumbersome and a bit messy (the liquid portion sloshes out if one is not slow and careful), but your comment is well taken, and certainly an option! Thanks for your thoughts, keep watching!

    Your method seems like a huge waste of water, and energy to heat the water.

    • @BellyUpBar
      @BellyUpBar  Před 10 měsíci

      Somehow, hot water in the bar area is required to quickly soften it, unless you have the time to leave it outside in the hot sun for a period of time beforehand. Appreciate your valid observation.

      @@BellyUpBarit’ll obviously take longer but boiling water and putting the can in the boiled water (removed from heat) should work too, no? Great tip btw, thanks.

      the boiled water technique should work too. Boiling the water requires energy and it would need scientific analysis beyond my expertise to determine whether the boiled hot water on the stove versus gas (or electric) heated hot water from the tap is more efficient and cost effective considering energy resources paid for in your area of the country. To your point, if you don't need the Lopez right away, boiled water is certainly feasible. Appreciate your comment and viewing!
