Thank you David, this is the best sound representation of this model on CZcams in my opinion. Echos of J200 but less bass. I like it
Of all the videos I've seen on the Ad27e Flametop- this one most accurately captures what it 'actually' sounds like, and your explanations are perfect. I've only had mine for a few days now, but I am completely in love with it- hands down the most unique sounding guitar I've ever owned. Excellent video!
Great video! I just bought this guitar 2 days ago! It’s really the most beautifull sounding guitar I’ve ever heared
Hi, thanks for a nice review and great playing 👍 This AKG C414 captures the sound in a decent way. Actually mic’ing up the acoustic guitar is an interesting subject in itself. Personally I do like to record with a ribbon R-10 from Royer. And the mic preamp is a key element here too 🪕 Cannot wait to read a full review in the mag. Take care!
I like it! It definitely has a different voice than any other guitar out there.
great review, thanks
I have all the Dreads..... not bragging, more of a shameful thing to be honest; D-18, J-45, HD-28, D-15S (slope/12-fret), but I am a huge fan of the AD series. I've had and sold the blacktop and natural...have been regretting selling my last one (to my best friend). after seeing this, I had to get one. Tradition doesn't bound Taylor's model line up, which I LOVE, and gives Andy Powers the freedom to combine a J-45 body, full scale length, light strings, and Maple with a playful burst finish; how cool. Just went to GC to play one and order (didn't care for the maple pattern on the one in the store).... stoked.
I bought one ☝️ too and ❤️ it! So mellow! I’m hooked
Got mine just about a month ago!
Just bought one ☝️. Love it 😍
Have you tried different string types yet?
@@toomuchtime5505 I have not have you?
@@NetMillionaire I watched all demos of this guitar I could find and a handful said they wanted to try it with phosphor strings. So I called Casino guitars " another pert of the country" But he was one that mentioned that. They said the strung all of them like that there🤗 and LOVED IT! So I finally got one and it's fantastic.
What is the tune you're strumming at the start of the video?
Stunning guitar 🎸 I bought one ☝️!
Hi, how do you like it ?
@@robdonell9915 I love it, so warm, great strummer, picking super great too, My 3rd Taylor but arguably the best!

@@toomuchtime5505 nope have you?
Are these monel strings?
As a featured instrument, maybe... But as a candy on top of the mix most definitely!
Rather have a GS mini Mahogany electro. Nice video though 'Guitarist'.
I’ve a number of Taylor’s but this one sound like nothing more than steel strings when strummed. Finger picking sounded better
I want one but I spent all my money on gas!
If the guitar is made out of maple should it not be a little less expensive. 2200 is a little much. IMO
Worth every penny I bought one for £1950
Interesting guitar. Sounds good through my headphones, lovely and balanced both strummed and fingerstyle.
