Wow, what talent! Amazing.
He also speaks English very well. This is probably one of those guys that's good at everything he does I would imagine. Good for him. 💪🏽
The playing tho 🔥🔥🔥🔥🏆🏆🏆🏆
sweet
Fantastic players, awesome viby guitars, classy amps 👍👌
Beautiful playing simply perfectionism.🤩👍
White hendrix lol
I am ambivalent about Bonamassa, I have to admit. I don't think he gets him - at all. He's talking about "Rumours" among other things - that is ridicolous in context of Peter Green. But that is a minor thing. When he recorded "British Blues Explosion", the record had NO Fleetwood Mac / Peter Green. Bonamassa covered "Pretending" from 1989. Quite a long time after the blues explosion. Lazy and careless, because people listen to Joe and hold him in high regard. Oh, wow I just discovered something - Joe thinks Peter died young (2:50). That's amazing - he does not give a shit!
Best jam ever 😮
The man looks amazing..I f##king love lizzy best Irish band ever
My son gives me crap to no end over the song "Jailbreak" (I love it, he hates it) and the lyrics "Tonight there's gonna be a jailbreak, somewhere in the town". As my son says, "Wouldn't the jailbreak be at the jail?". To hear Scott laugh about the line was perfect.
If only the guy who made this guitar knew what an iconic instrument he was crafting!
like all good stories it leave more question then answers. I wonder did they put sponges in the ashtray?
First saw James play in the late nineties with Peter Bruntnell at a Gram Parsons tribute night. He must have been quite young at the time. His playing was awesome
Loved that, best thing I’ve watched in ages
Great Tones! Do you run the Snouse Black Box in 9v or 18v? Is it standard or classic mode? Thx!!! Keep Rocking!
Hard Tail. Nice.
For the price they're charging, should have a set neck and a better humbucker. They're fun for what they are tho, if you can look past the price.
I just learned a lesson. I'll be fronting a band soon if all goes well. I cant loose sight of the fact that you are there to entertain.
lol
Seriously want ALL Squiers Paranormals, especially these two!
Tube Screamer gets so much hate and I absolutely love them, 8 or 9. I’ve got a magical TS9 that sounds great at any setting. With the gain at zero, it’s one of the greatest clean preamps I’ve ever played.
This is the best thing I’ve ever seen.
Hmmm... What would the father of loud say?
I am having trouble hearing my guitar playback. I followed the instructions. You can play the rhythm and then play over what you recorded?
Those guitars and amp sound fantastic. If it was me playing them they'd sound dreadful! Great playing guys.
"Tubescreamer...:". Then it went to an advert! Thought I could not love Barrie more than I already did 😁 Absolutely brilliant video, thanks to all involved.
awesome
Put light strings on a bjg guitar for a finer fingerpicking sound. Heavy strings wont project the many complex touches so well as light strings. Base can always be emphasised if you want more no matter the strings diameter.
just got this guitar the sound is great the neck is great the trem arm fixing is crap , a strat is much better for me
ah..those harmony parts!...my favorite pedals ( pre: overdrive)....( post: delay and a HARMONIZER!) Probably a direct connection to Thin Lizzy for me....loved their harmony parts! .... honorable mentions: Boston..Yngwie..Dream Theater guitar/synth 🤘🤨..and who ever else i can't think of right now😂
I had that old Gibson amp, maybe 75-82. The tremolo bled into the volume. Imagine an amp where the trem adds volume, the reverb too. It was a great soup on ten. Great speaker in there too. Of course, totally an idiot to ever sell it. Regret that as much as any on a long list. Don't ever tell me modeling can do that. Overlooked: pre-CBS Pro Reverb, amazing
Anything with Barrie Codogan is an instant click, anything with Barrie Codagan on Peter Green/Danny Kirwan is an instant week off to study haha
Barrie has so much soul and groove it’s ridiculous. James plays like the devil himself. This is amazing - one of the finest demo videos I’ve ever seen. ❤
100x better than Swift.
Very Nice playing and LP. Like it a lot except i préfet it with the pickguard
"germany Spencer" muppet.
Gibson never got the message from their last bankruptcy they sell their guitars at exorbitant prices they didn't learn like other businesses did ever since the NAFTA agreement was on years ago you no longer now, merchants that is in the United States, competes against just the guy around the corner, you're competing against Hong Kong ,China, Russia ,every other nation in the world that decides to set up a factory build guitars out of the same wood ,that you build them out of ,they build them pretty much just like you build them, the only differences are the pickups which you yourself can change out if you want but a lot of times you don't even have to change them out and almost every video that you will ever watch on CZcams where they make a comparison between guitars, the Les Paul style or any style of other nations compared to the ones made by American manufacturers ,almost every video of comparison you will watch They sound exactly the same when played through the same amplifier , so I'm just waiting for Gibson to file bankruptcy again because men's wives are not going to let them spend thousands of dollars for guitars when they can get the same guitar, the same workmanship that looks beautiful on their paint jobs especially, when they can get them for $200 instead of $2,000
Great sounds, great gear, great playing. Loved it.
This Was Really Good
And what's gonna be the name of this new band?
The body on the '61 Strat is nitrocellulose lacquer! Also, you have to appreciate the fact that the Custom Shop instruments of yesterday are the production models of today---just like in the automotive industry. The options in the S-Class Mercedes of 2004 are now the standard features in the standard line of 2024. Likewise, what somebody paid $6k for back in 2002 at the Fender Custom Shop is now $2k in 2024 from the regular Fender production line. Just because you have a "Custom Shop" guitar from 10 or 20 years ago doesn't mean s**t. Everything they learned from making that they've now put into their regular line.
I could stay in that room for a week with that stuff.
Tommy, thank you for this lesson. I appreciate that you're teaching these techniques at a understandable pace, one step at a time, which makes you a excellent teacher.
Interesting, James is a foot tapper and Barrie’s feet don’t move a muscle
❤
Wow. Would love a whole album of these 2 guys playing together.
Wow an Old Roy Smeck Harmoney Guitar
Gibson Gtrs are great but def. not worth those prices . Anyone would be be better off with ESP . A company with tremendous quality control and 24 frets !!!
Nada demais . Meu 1981 é igualzinho. Pela metade do preço kk
