Really enjoyed your tire trial series, Saj! This seems like a great tire for you!
It really is. Thank you for your support
Thanks for the review, I was most interested by the tramlining evaluation!
I'm glad it helped
@@YASAJTV yes a friend is a big fan of this tire on his Sherman S, like you he landed on that one after trying many, he has been saying the same
@@supercurioTube Thank you confirming. It will help others
That tire looks like the one love your videos!
Lovely tire it is
not vibration, due to its thread pattern you'd feel everything on the road. That's how grippy it is.
great video bruv forreal homie...where did you get your tires from and you think they got them for 14 inch rim master sherman ex 30 ya know
I get my tires from multiple sources, revzila, amazon, cycle gear etc. There tires for every wheel. Tons of tires for 14 rims. I would advise do good research before pulling the trigger, there is always a better one. Thank you for your support
@@YASAJTV hahaha you crack me up your a tire junkie lol will do brother
I'm considering City Extra and Pirelli Angel City. I like the thick sidewall protection from the CE. The MasPro rim can be dented on a bad pothole... have you tried or heard feedback from the Pirelli?
I personally like thick or hard side walls, give you feedback that I love. My 99% rides are main roads and hard flat surfaces. No I have not tested Pirelli yet would love to try it. Just ordered a classic Michelin Pilot Street 80/80-17 from UK, this will have low profile than City Extra 80/90 . Video coming soon
How to install , threat up or threat down? You have it threat up, am I correct ? Great video thanks
If mean by tire orientation, yes I prefer rear configuration. I installed it as front tire first but than chanhed it to as rear tire.
I have bought the Michelin City Extra for my Master 80/90 14" 46P TL, we shall see what we shall see :-)
You'll love it. It has just right amount of feedback, awesome grip and minimal tramline issue. FYI, Tire PSI matters, I have notice that the tire does change its riding feel, responsiveness and all above mentioned according to PSI levels. PSI level is directly proportional to what tire gives out. So if by any chance you feel like you do not like the feel, play with PSI levels.
@@YASAJTV The CST-186 knobbly tyre the Master comes with is also very sensitive to pressure. I run mine at 27psi and have found 30psi already to be too much (well 30 is OK but you know what I mean).
@@Roskellan Totally understand. I ride my wheel at low PSI. I like 25 PSI in my tires. Rubber contact is important. But always depending on what you do, I 90% ride on hard surfaces I.e. main roads and pavements.
Why it has vibration??? Is it normal????? I buy yesterday 90/90-14 city Extra. and I felt vibration 😢 why??? can someone explain ??? Is it normal or something wrong in the way they put my tires on???
@@bosslakedoubler1877 I will not call it vibration. But yes it is not as smooth as Michelin Pilot Street 2. Something to do with knobs and threads, this tire will definately be better on dirt than Michelin Pilot Street 2. I think Michelin tried to make this tire more versatile for hard surface and dirt sufraces.
Did you install city extra tubeless or with tube?
Always with the tube. I do not trust EUC rims with running tubeless.
Why it has vibration??? Is it normal????? I buy yesterday 90/90-14 city Extra. and I felt vibration 😢 why??? can someone explain ??? Is it normal or something wrong in the way they put my tires on???
Nothing is wrong. It is tire threads. This tire has threads/teeth that will also help in some very light dirt/mud. I will not call this vibration, it is a quiet/silent tire. But, yes something is there, which one can only feel it. I am sure you have installed it correctly. What orientation did you install as? I would recommend it to be installed as a rear tire. Compare to Pilot Street 2, when I tested Street 2, it had absolutely nothing, a pure silent street tire.
Which one have better grip in wet road? i am looking for one help me stay away from sliding when i brake my bike
Get Michelin Pilot Street 2 and ride low PSI air in tyres for wet and snowy conditions. Higher PSI is not ideal for wet, cold and snowy.
Do you have a link to buy this tire?(thanks in advance😇)
I got it from Amazon. This link says City Pro in the listing, but photo is City Extra and they sent me City Extra tire. I guess since City Pro is discontinued. www.amazon.com/Tire-90-17-50s-City-Pro/dp/B06XBQPZ61/ref=asc_df_B06XBQPZ61/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=632124669053&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1532577486383667489&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9061145&hvtargid=pla-1884492910701&psc=1
where can i get the michelin city extra tire for my commander pro, and what size do i need to get?
I would recommend getting Michelin Pilot Street 2 instead of City Extra. Commander Pro tire size is (80/90-14)
@@YASAJTV Why do u recommend pilot street for 80/90 and city extra for 90/90 ? i want to understand
@@datAero It was not available in USA. 90/90 was only being sold in the Europe. If you can get 90/90 get in the USA, get that.
@@YASAJTV im on a lynx so I can only get 80/90 :)
So... Pilot street 2 is better for asphalt because of less vibration, while city extra can be taken for slight off-road due to better grip?
I think you got it right. I felt the same. It is a personal opinion though. Some may feel different.
@@YASAJTV do you know the difference between pilot street and pilot street 2?
@@Arisudev Pilot Street OG discontitnued and not available in the USA. New and old with some design pattern differences.
@@YASAJTV thank you for the information sir 👍
@@YASAJTV hey bro I bought city extra a few days ago. It's fantastic! Excellent for all my needs. Thank you 👍
Who the best pilot 2 vs city extra
My personal choice Pilot Street 2. But the old version of Street 2 that comes in 80/80-17. I imported from the UK to the USA. www.ebay.com/itm/304481142893?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D260885%26meid%3D6a3e0ddb977e4a5991cc66c971882033%26pid%3D101875%26rk%3D8%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D234434230774%26itm%3D304481142893%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D4429486%26algv%3DSimplAMLv11WebTrimmedV3MskuWithLambda85KnnRecallV1V2V4ItemNrtInQueryAndCassiniVisualRankerAndBertRecallWithVMEV3CPCAutoWithCassiniEmbRecallManual%26brand%3DMichelin&_trksid=p4429486.c101875.m1851&itmprp=cksum%3A3044811428936a3e0ddb977e4a5991cc66c971882033%7Cenc%3AAQAIAAABcKAO6YGL7I8ZT6VFWcHmDuKm898HGH9cNRsnG%252Fep%252BzC3UPHwPSmfpPq3b41cHxht%252FCiwo5DdbtiFsRNqRhAUlK8x2MLrmISu5pnzSn%252FhiW3P7y%252BKcxGllTjL%252BG3bIP4k8fGgzCrVY1dxXbjuBFp3vefxTYgjBXBRUWQBgGciI%252FuQ5Mjsfl%252B%252FiL4cv70dT88jK2S53TIA28hASaUoTv48ROWazW6mVNCwo%252FeX%252BPwiw7S2ZXuw%252BdcKyptUAGHVcCMulKMBIoL6EodXT0X6ajANSH4HAT1IGTjH3p6dnl1EDeK7GV0PFdYQ7oJ5eJtYkqG6lToDFzS%252BoTKDZ9l77aP6HLIBgIOswGf0YEQlSQPD%252B4H11uuWk1cVUOsG84uq3hIXDEkW676LI2j9bQBRm%252BVJeHnPV2e21Jhwa%252BkXsppb2gn3qOHTZVzYaqvGvEiYIWogAlkifoXLIziZqA7inIFwV9qxFfRtPsI%252BvRdpT5r5djqy%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A4429486&itmmeta=01HR1DAGS5M2T2GTEPHTHW5Q8D
