Sun this Vulcan is an extremely clean build my friend, one of the cleanest builds that I've ever seen on a metric Bike. I wish you lived closer to my part of the Country, I have a custom Motorcycle shop in Chattanooga Tennessee. A builder/ fabricator with your mechanical skills, could be making $250 dollars an hour during bike season. Great video thanks for sharing it man.

Probably the best bike you've built so far. And i am also talking about the beautiful paint of the tank and fender. Simple,fatty and solid,the bike is proportioned and essential. Love it.
Beautiful work. Those old bars actually work really nicely and look like they're meant to be, without looking like "boring" stock. Gorgeous colour choice and the gold accents work really nicely with the brass fittings.
Do u know what kind of handlebars they are? I would like to get them for my bike

Big Vulcan nut here. I have a 1500 Classic and an 800 Drifter. The 800 has always been one of my favorite all around bikes - for me, it's the perfect size, weight, and power and it would probably be my choice if I could only have (or recommend) one bike.
This is by far the coolest thing I've ever seen someone do with one of these powerplants. Your hard work really paid off; this bike is unique in every way, and it WORKS. You should be proud!

I own a 2000 model, keeps up with a built Dyna on the bottom end. I enjoy mine a lot, even in mostly stock form.

Thats beautiful. You did a fantastic job. The Kawaski 800 has a bullet proof motor and transmission. You picked a great bike to customize. I have one also, but I used a Blue Collar Bobber kit from Utah. Check them out, you might like some of their parts. You don't have to have turn signals in California? Check out blue collar bobber, where I bought my stuff. They have bullet shaped black nickel turn signals that would look good on your bike if you need them.

If it only made a little nicer sound! For what i hear the shadow sounds a bit nicer? Got a shadow myself , but usually the sound trough a camera etc is a lot different aswell.

I can't wait to get my 97 800 done. I've been procrastinating big time since winter till I started watching your VN series. I got the burgundy and khaki colorway and think I'm either gonna keep it or do something the same but slightly deeper shades. That color really reminds me of it. People call me crazy but I'm keeping my stock tank too.
