Mexican beaches have great reception! fr it’s cuz the tourism gives a lot of money to our country so wherever a tourist might usually has great reception so that it can be posted shared etc. I’m not sure if this is like 100% true but living in Mexico that’s what I noticed. :)

The fact that Nathan has had so much of his work and life stolen from him, his effort stepped on and he still gets the tragedy that he has gone through this last year breaks my fucking heart. Yet this man holds his head up high and continues forward doing the best he can. If anyone deserves the world it really is Nathan Barnett.

As someone who knew nothing about boxing, this whole live-stream was extremely entertaining. Ian and Anisa were great guests, very natural. Not to mention hearing more about AB's experiences with boxing, as well as the informed input of the coach and everyone else. It's actually very interesting to learn about something new when people I like are involved. A quality episode

It’s been so cool to watch creators like idubbz and joji start their careers doing weird ass CZcams videos (that a lot of us, including me, thought were funny at the time) and blossom into more serious endeavors that take legitimate practice, skill and hard work. I’m not saying the CZcams videos were shit, I enjoyed them, but it’s nice to see them take something so seriously and be really passionate about it

Holy shit, I’ve been diagnosed w MS for a little over a year now and my neuros have always told me there’s no specific reason but after hearing them talking about head injuries it makes so much sense. Grew up in a super abusive home and suffered soooo many concussions from hard hits to the head. I had no idea it was that common, fkn hell 😳

Credit to IAN, he took an absolute pounding for 5 rounds like a man and kept fighting back. Dr. Mike is a beast. But the event actually accomplished every goal in terms of being both entertaining and credible. The fights were real and the boxing was very solid. And oh yeah, DAD, absolutely destroyed the poor kid he fought.

She said his moral stance didn't really change that much. I think it's a matter of "the medium is the message" type of thing. It's easy to misinterpret what type of person someone is just from a couple of "hot takes", especially if they are putting on an intentionally scandalous show.
I kinda hate that comedy is basically no longer "safe" just because it's reaching more and more impressionable people. I think back then comedy used to be much more "esoteric" which imo, how it should be.
@@canti7951I totally agree. I think it's a double edged sword with things reaching a wider audience, which sucks because you want things to grow, but you don't want it to lose the nuances that made you love it in the first place. Wider audience typically means washed out, filtered.

I loved Ian's wife here! I didn't know her and only heard all the horrible stuff they said about her but she's so nice and well spoken. Carried this whole podcast to perfection. Would love to hear her own podcast.

@@boozeyguze3093 Ian has always been pretty quiet on podcasts, even when he’s been the only guest. He is more energetic and talkative in scripted content. He just seems like a chill person overall when it’s just him being him.

I think it helps when Hila’s there and also Ian and him have been friends for like 6-7 years now. Sometimes Ethan cutting off callers or the crew makes me cringe but i dont fault him for it, i’ve accidentally done it a few times 😔
Tbf, sometimes the coach went on for too long as he was repeating the same things he already said. Ethan himself mentioned that sometimes you just gotta cut people off as a podcast host because you know it's not going anywhere

I love when a caller can have a conversation with Ethan and is self aware They are on a podcas you can't ramble or freeze up. This caller was excellent at talking saying how far to skip in video. Just really good at remembering he's on podcast which kept him on for a long time which got his story out. I am happy he got that opportunity. Sad story. Really made me tell my boyfriend how much I love and appreciate him because I couldn't imagine losing him. We have been fighting giving each other silent treatment for past few days. Dads story just made me realize how tomorrow is never promised. Don't hold grudges for petty shit.
