I was just thinking the same thing, Hollywood is so filled with Woke garbage that I haven’t been to a movie in years. That’s will change upon release of this motion picture.
How movie technology advanced in past 10-15 years is amazing. Now you can just shoot and film whole triology in just few months and release 3 parts in just few months, back in days it was impossible. When Matrix part 2 and 3 were released in just few months in 2003, it was something never been done and revolution. Tarantino did similar thing with Kill Bill Vol 1 and Vol 2, but only because he filmed too much material for just one movie. And they were shooting those movies almost whole year.
John Wayne ~ Clint Eastwood ~ Kevin Costner. For me the best actors when you want an amazing western done without all the Hollywood b.s. involved. Excited to see this. Great cast as well. Bravo.
The foundation of American settlements and land grabbing were aggressively political. If you don’t see this as having a “political agenda” you don’t know anything about westerns

I'm more amped for the final season of Yellowstone, but it's all good. I have no doubt that studio execs declared the Western dead and buried at least 40 years ago, but here we are and a new generation of writers has pumped life into a very old genre.

I have read some reviews. Too long, disconnected plot lines, long boring dialogues. But I will watch and make up my own mind. Hope it won't be a waste of $.
Costner just started shooting part 3. I hope he is able to finish all 4 before part 2 hit the theaters. I got a feeling that these movies will perform bad at the box office, sadly, even if they turn out to be masterpieces.

Wow. I thought the trailer was supposed to make you want to see the movie. Advice to the producer: Everyone wasn't freshly showered and with perfect teeth in the old west. Might want to rethink your entire movie. Even the bad guys have no edge to them. The whole thing is just... bland.
