Haynesworth was the poster boy for the issue. But under Snyder, there loads of past-their-prime free agent pickups that could be on this list.
2019:
Denver signs Ju'Wuan James to a 4 year 51 million deal
Who oh that the point
Mike Glennon signed a three-year, $45 million deal with the Bears in 2017. He played a grand total of four games for the Bears.
At least they learned their lesson and only signed Dalton for 1yr to be a bridge QB and he ultimately failed in that role too 😢
It makes you wonder if Trubisky would’ve been better had he gotten the full “redshirt” year like Mahomes did and vice versa if the Bears picked Mahomes if Glennon’s failure would’ve made him bust like Mitch.
@@NotMeNaNaNadalton was not bad especially compared to Mike!
Nick Foles after he won the Super Bowl in 2017 with the Eagles he did sign with Jacksonville Jaguars for a fresh new start 0:44
Maxwell even at the time stunned me as a eagles fan,,dude could only patrol a small piece of turf for Seattle,, so slow
Love your video Tom and keep up the great work you are awesome
In Nnamdi Asomugha defense , he went form just playing man coverage to zone , the morons in the eagles brass didn’t play him to his strength and fried his confidence
i still throw-up a little when i think of the Murray signing in Philly
It's worth pointing out that both Eagles signings on this list had Chip Kelly as either coach or GM/coach. Neither was a great signing but he's definitely a common thread there.
Howie's hands are not clean,, look at all those wasted draft picks during and after Chip,,he loved college stats,, never looked at potential,,, and still giving out big contract for veterans that we already have signed,, bringing back Gramm is the latest,, this hurts contact was way premature!!!!! Barkley is a big wiff!!! Huff is okay,, must draft DB Clemson
@CrsOne-fc5jk
Howie definitely doesn't get a pass but a Chip Kelly destroyed everything he touched.
Kelly also signed Ryan Matthews from the Chargers, to pair with Murray.
Hey NFL Fans When a Team Is Below 20 In Rankings Can They Still Be Favorite To Win Super bowl Please Respond
I have a video idea. Do one on teams who had to overcome extreme adversity. Their chances of winning were slim to none!
It’s weird how great QBs get into beefs with their kickers. Manning vs. Vanderjagt, Marino vs. Finkle…
Eagles used DeMarco wrong, he had a decent year after.
I can't hear Vanderjetts name without thinking liquored up idiot kicker! THX Payton :)
As a packers fan
There is zero doubt in my mind
That without the injury
Jermichael Finley would have reset tight end market as a free agent. Dude was a monster.
And 4 some reason
Hell
2 this day
Former packers r loved by certain teams
Just an opinion
DeMarco Murray isn't to blame. Chip Kelly was using him wrong from the second he stepped on the field
I will say my teams owner ain’t eva been scared to splurge. Thanks Jeffrey!
Never call 2008 20-8. It’s 08. That’s what we called it at the time!
Hands down #1 was on point!
Never really got why people make such a big deal about the Matt Flynn signing. It's not like the contract weighed them down from contending because they won the Super Bowl anyway so what's the actual problem?
Nick Foles had a wonderful 2013 season and the 2014 season wasn’t bad. He got hurt and then got traded to Eagles fans that was the downfall and we had our problems because it was way before but when they traded him away we didn’t like it the only reason jaguars signed, was because of the Super Bowl, and what he did in the year he got us to the divisional round they forgot he couldn’t play outside of Philadelphia
You have no idea what you're even talking about about bud 2014 wasn't bad? He GOT INJURED that's bad
Ppl always 4get when the 2001 Ravens signed Elvis Grbac to 1 of the biggest QB contracts in history at that time after winning the Super Bowl, he’s 1 of the worst players to ever wear a Ravens jersey 👿
Screw Neil O'Donnell 4:34
NFL Throwback just did this same segment 2 weeks ago. You just added a few players trying not to make it too obvious.
Shame on you.
Murray i believe wasnt used right in philly. Just wasnt a fit in their scheme
Ah yes Matt Flynn, hilariously bad
DeMarco Murry was a incredible player with Dallas until he went to play with the Eagles a division rivals 2:06
I guess Saquon signing is gonna be useless compared to this one
@LMMoss-oh2yc Will see what Saquon will do in Philadelphia in 2024 as long as he'd stays healthy and not get hurt then he'll be all right otherwise he will definitely regret the day that he should have went to Houston instead
He really should've not left the Raiders if he'd stayed there 6:02
What about when the bear signed Mike Glenn 23 years 45 million dollars
Kinda glad the pains didn't take a few of these guys hahahah... they always think they getting a hidden talent when a team is stacked
RAIDERSSSSSSS!!!!💀☠️💀🏴☠️💀💀☠️💀🏴☠️☠️💀
Javon Walker
You call them the jagwires, plus they are the Redskins
Russel Wilson gotta be one of the craziest one too
He wasn’t a free agent
It's not crazy though, a future HOF quarterback to a QB-needy team. Theres nothing crazy about that...
Mike Vanderjagt would be a worthy Hall Of Fame candidate for a kicker if he'd stayed in Indianapolis and won a Super Bowl Ring in the 2006 year if he didn't go to Dallas although he was a damn great kicker with the Colts unless if your Peyton Manning who called him a IDIOT KICKER I bet that really really hurt just by listening to that 7:30
Vanderjagt missed game-winning Field Goals in the playoffs two years in a row... that was why the Colts signed Adam Vinatieri in 2006 free agency.
Wasn't really up to Vanderjagt, the Colts chose to move on from him and get a guy that was actually capable of making clutch kicks
What’s with the subtitles like I’m not deaf
Scott Mitchell was the absolute WORST 3:51
Hello
2nd
First
To this day I'm sure he hasn't forgiven Peyton Manning for calling him a idiot kicker 8:40
God bless! Jesus Christ is the way and saves! Psalms 62✝💪🤍 Jeremiah 29:11✝🤍💪
I knew this video was gonna happen!
