If you actually watched the game, it's not a stretch to argue that Marino beat the Bears pretty much all by himself. He didn't just put the team on his shoulders... I have never seen one player so unwilling to lose.

Yeah, Without him in ‘85 we’d have been 12-4 maybe even 11-5, The Vikings in Minnesota, both games against the pack, even both against Tampa. The best the defence played was the play offs, and the cowboys and redskins games but, there 3 games where conceded 28 or more points.

The point is that ring is just an individual token given to the players on every Super Bowl winning team because it's a team sport and they all contributed but there is only one Lombardi Trophy & the team is taken back to the their house. It truly annoys me that QB's are judged by their ring count when it's a team sport. No QB wins or loses the Super Bowl on their own...

It's Unfathomable and absolutely so Criminal that Warren Moon was one of the most underrated QBs to never win a Super Bowl Ring here's a man who had excellent success in the CFL but when he got to the NFL he definitely had one of the absolute BEST accuracies in his hall of fame career he really throws the ball with the greatest of E's but this man was certainly the real deal but when he played vs Chiefs he had 522 passing yards in a game too but still this man certainly does deserves at least one or two Super Bowl's in his resume 3:30 That’s a pretty solid list. Good analysis also. he is Jim McMahon may not put up big-time stats or anything but he's won not one but two Super Bowls in his career in 1985 with the Bears it was because of the entire Defense that led the way and in 1996 with Green Bay Packers as the 3rd string backup QB with Brett Favre as well as Doug Pederson too 0:28 Despite the dog fighting scandal when you think about quarterbacks that never won a Super Bowl, you'd think Michael Vick deserved consideration for the list of one of the best to never win a Super Bowl Dan Marino for sure and what about Matt Ryan the Eli was the ultimate product of his defense. VIDEO IDEA: NFL players who switched their jersey numbers and weren’t ever the same player. Or you could do it the other way around NFL switched their jersey number and became a better player. Every QB deserves a ring they are doing one of the hardest jobs in all sports and even if they are back up they went to the NFL and not everybody can TOP 10 2nd round picks 👍Philip Rivers always has always been and will always be the heart and soul of the Chargers franchise history to never won a Super Bowl but make no mistake about it he really was one of the most likable QBs to ever grace the football field 1st Round 4th in the 2004 NFL Draft the North Carolina State Wolfpack Alumni was certainly awesome but his numbers don't lie his best year was 2006 14-2 he may not have played on the big stage but the damn thing he is a champion of is that he is a tremendously terrific father to all of the special kids that are still grateful to have at least Mr.Rivers is just living his best damn life how he wants and whenever he wanted to period 1:18
    Honorable mentions

Jeff Hostetler didn't win Super Bowl 15 with the Giants, but Super Bowl 25. Jim McMahon has 2 Superbowl rings, carrying Farve's clipboard. Jim Kelly said "What??!!" Defense Wins Championships but Dexter Jackson was named Super Bowl's MVP on Defense 5:05 Many younger people don't understand that from 1985 to 1997 the AFC would be owned by the NFC Jeff Hostetler was the reason why he got the Giants to the Super Bowl when Phil Sims got hurt but what did Hostetler do? He got the job done against the Buffalo Bills in the 1990 season but hey give the man credit he may not be the most NFL-ready type of player but winning the Super Bowl is what matters at the end of the day 6:14 McMahon and Johnson won their SB games with 46 and 48 points and they only won because of their defense? Sure, Buddy. Dan Marino changed the game at the QB position from then to what we see now 7:37 1-hour gang👇🏽1. Phillip Rivers has very impressive stats. But if you watched him. He and his team were never an actual favorite. Good regular season wins and good regular season numbers. 2. Nick Foles threw 7 TDs in a single game. Before leaving the Eagles for the first time. His last game as an Eagle. If Alshon Jeffery doesn’t drop the ball “UP” for an interception. They may beat the Saints. Which would have the 2018 Eagles vs. the Rams for a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Bad coaching is what sunk Rivers and the Chargers. By all means, Rivers should have gotten at least one ring, but their coaches couldn't cut the mustard.

I completely disagree with you putting Jeff Hostetler on this list. The fact that you didn't mention that he played for the raiders makes me think you didn't even research it. He played 4 years for the raiders. Year one: led raiders to playoffs and won a playoff game. Year 2: made the pro bowl. Year 3: led the raiders to an 8-2 record before he got injured. Year 4: at 36 he started aging badly but still hit his career high in TDs. Raiders finished 7-9 and they cut him. Raider fans still think fondly of "Hoss", a good quarterback for us.

Now as far as one of the worst QBs to win Superbowls, you have to go with Bradshaw. I challenge you to look at his year by year TDs vs interceptions to see how bad he was. Marino

    Kelley
    Fouts

    Interesting List:
    1. Phillip Rivers has very impressive stats. But if you watched him. He and his team was never an actual favorite. Good regular season wins and good regular season numbers.
    2. Nick Foles threw 7 TD’s in a single game. Before leaving the Eagles the first time.
His last game as an Eagle. If Alshon Jeffery doesn’t drop the ball “UP” for an interception.
    The may beat the Saints.
Which would have the 2018 Eagles VS The Rams for a chance to go to the Super Bowl.

It's Unfathomable and absolutely Criminal so Criminal that Warren Moon was one of the most underrated QB's to never win a Super Bowl Ring like here's a man who had excellent success in the CFL but when he got to the NFL he definitely had one of the absolute BEST accuracies in his hall of fame career he really throws the ball with the greatest of E's but this man was certainly the real deal but when he played vs Chiefs he had 522 passing yards in a game too but still this man certainly does deserves at least one or two Super Bowl's in his resume 3:30

Cam Newton had one good season - ONE! It was more important to him (and still is) that he be the talk of the town rather than winning a SB. Everyone else but him was to blame. Not even close to be greatest to never win a ring! Cam greater than Jim Kelly? Matt Ryan? Donovan McNabb? Randall Cunningham? Dan Fouts? Phil Rivers? C'mon! Get real! Not to mention that Cam is the poorest of poor sports. Narcissist is what comes to mind when Cam Newton's name is mentioned...🤦‍♀

Philip Rivers he always has always was and will always be the heart and soul of the Chargers franchise history to never win a Super Bowl but make no mistake about it he really was one of the most likable QB's to ever grace the football field 1st Round 4th in the 2004 NFL Draft the North Carolina State Wolfpack Alumni was certainly awesome but his numbers don't lie his best year was 2006 14-2 he may not have played on the big stage but the damn thing he is a champion of is that he is a tremendously terrific father to all of special kids that are still grateful to have at least Mr.Rivers is just living his best damn life how he want and whenever he wanted to period 1:18
