But at the same time, it's sort of like the Doctor, having been through this scenario a few times, decides to formally introduce himself to his new friend. Gallifrey, the TARDIS, blah blah. Feels like a good change, and a change in character. 💙💙

Yeah...pretty much...its why i hate the chibnal arc so much, it ruined 9, 10, 11, and 12s arcs by making gallifrey seem meaningless when it was their home, they lost it...grieved it for so so long...and got it back...went through 2 and a half billion years of torture to get back...only to have it destroyed so so easily...like...seriously...after all that
