    A brief phrase in the bridge of this cute tune has always reminded me of the standard, "I'm Confessin' (That I Love You)". Paul, prominent on the Great Depression pop scene, sounds in better spirits on this bouncy affair -- and why not? This is one sweet number. Mr Small is no Pinky Tomlin, but he is rosy reeeeeeeeedd, as we find here.

      Trumpetolgy! I spent many years with a trombone behind my head. My ears nowadays aren't the same. I feel sorry for the woodwinds in front of me. This is a wonderful recording.
