I love seeing other young people truly live for themselves. After watching a CZcams video of someone travelling around the world and teaching English I knew instantly that's what I wanted to do. I got so close to achieving my dreams but ended up developing debilitating chronic pain weeks before I was due to fly to Korea. It's been two years and my heart still breaks when I think about what my life could have been. I find happiness in seeing others live life to the fullest and explore the world. I wish health and happiness for all of you.
@taylorboom6322 Teaching English in Korea is not what it used to be (tbf I don't know what it used to be but it is awful atm) there's a lot of exploitation and being under paid, it's pretty bad that a lot of people end up quitting and leaving including my friend. Visiting Korea as a tourist is a lot more fun than the general work culture especially for foreign teachers. Hope you get better soon and have lots of adventures! I know you're in Turkey for treatment but it's such a cool places with so much ancient history, hope you also get to do some exploring too!

@@claireandpeter Thailand, completely unintentionally. I had no plan but when the year was up and I didn't feel ready to go back to the U.S. I happened to be in Thailand and wanted to stop moving for a while. I made friends, developed some latent interests and new skills and, well, here I am :)
