Working with Large Print Motifs: T-shirt

There are a lot of things I think about when I work with a fabric that has a large print. In this video, I show you my thought process about the placement of the floral motif both before and as I lay out the pattern pieces. I also give tips on pinning and cutting out the pattern.
This example is for a darted knit tee, but the process is very similar for a woven fabric.

Agree with the earlier comments. Watching you work through this process has been so helpful. I just realized I’ve been incorrectly placing my pattern on the fold line wrong! Probably why I’ve had fitting issues. Thank you for sharing this educational video. Lovely fabric, too.
