And then Francis criticized Cordileone twice since then publicly...
Yeah makes me think the Pope is “personally pro-life” but would vote pro-choice as many Catholics do because “I can’t tell others what to do” and “I can’t judge their difficult decision to abort.”

I've longed believed that Francis would be far more comfortable as the Secretary General of the UN than he apparently is as the head of the Church, in which he seems to not fully believe, and against which he has perpetrated significant damage.
"What sort of a pope writes and arranges for the publication of his own autobiography? Surely this is ill-advised if only because it is not a “good look” for a successor of St. Peter: Even if such a step does not infallibly signal hubris, it necessarily raises serious questions about humility. To the best of my knowledge, no other pope has taken such a step, and few bishops or cardinals. At the very least, it is astonishing for a pope to take time away from his extraordinarily heavy responsibilities to write, even with professional assistance, the precious story of his own life." - Dr. Jeff Mirus, Catholic Culture

I dont know that Francis is really pro-life, given that he will not call a fetus a Person, he says that thatt is under discussion (?), and that a fetus is a living being. That, to me, besides being wrong, is not enough of an argument to prevent abortion, because at any early stage one would not be taking the life of a person

the Church is not rejecting those with same-sex attraction. When the church says that engaging in same-sex relations is a sin, it is NOT rejecting the person. The church also says engaging in sex outside of marriage is a sin i.e., goes against the Will of God - but does not reject the people who do this. It is a patently false statement to say the Church rejects people who engage in sinful behavior. It's sort of the same illogic that a teenager might say to a parent who puts restrictions on them for their own good and the teen replies, "You just hate me and don't want me to have any fun." And they are not 'so-called shepherds', rather they are good shepherds because they are trying to keep their flock from going astray and being harmed. That is the role of a shepherd. A permissive shepherd, on the other hand, would be pretty useless to their flock-'sure little lamb, you can walk over the edge of that cliff. I don't want to stifle your freedom."

That's a lie. Their SIN is being rejected, not the person. If those homosexuals continue to engage in sodomy, they lie to themselves, and make a mockery of the biblical command not to engage in it. That doesn't mean they are rejected, hated or despised, but the onus is on them to obey Gods' instructions. Nevertheless, where families have members that are homosexual, they are still loved, embraced and treated no differently, just as in their church!

In terms of Pope Francis and abortion, Jesus' injunction is the important context:
“Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves. You’ll recognise them by their fruit. Are grapes gathered from thorn-bushes or figs from thistles?"
He's had 1 single sentence in one of his teaching documents in 11 years on the topic and in it he quoted Pope Benedict.
He's campaigned against President Trump and elevated the standing in the Catholic Church of Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden, two of the most strident and effective pro-abortion politicians in the world.
Pope Francis seems to prefer appoinments of advisors people who are infamously pro abort even to Pontifical Academy for Life c/f Mariana Mazzucato among others
He's praised Emma Bonino one of Italy's most renown pro-abortion activists among many other such people.

It is unthinkable that still in this time and age when it is easier to have accses to a Bible, people still consider the Catholic church the only and true church. According to the Bible, the church is the body of Christ and it is formed by the christian believers all over the world.
That means there is no denomination for the true believers. They are those who believe in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation without taking or adding to the scripture, because it is the infalible word of God, valid yesterday, today and forever.
Any church that has a pope does not follow scripture. The head of the church is Christ, not men and the pope is not infalibe. Both of those teachings are heresies.
People need to read tge Bible, pray for wisdom and the Holy spirit will guide them onto salvation and out of cults.

The Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, wrote, collated and defined the Bible wherein:
He asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God!” Then Jesus told him, “How blessed you are, Simon son of Jonah, since flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, though my Father in heaven has. I tell you that you are Peter, and it is on this rock that I will build my congregation, and the powers of hell will not conquer it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom from heaven. Whatever you prohibit on earth will have been prohibited in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will have been permitted in heaven.”

Had there been time I am sure he would have published a book for instruction, alas, his scribe was late in the publishing, and had to whisper it into a convenient Jesuit, who, no doubt, undertook the norm for our day, a 30-millisecond discernment.
Saint Francis was not a priest. Popes who take the name should ponder if they are capable of emulating his humility prior to taking the name, but to do that would require too much humility for those self-proclaimed humble servants of the poor types.

Pope JPII once said that abortion wasn't perhaps always a mortal sin but always a grave one. So a more pastoral view than that of Pope Francis. On the other hand Francis seems to forget at least quite often, that homosexuals etc. won't inherit the kingdom of God. So i find the Pope's pastoral rather personal or out of balance, and i may perhaps suggest that maybe after all he could indeed do with a visit to a psychologist?

JPll was a Vatican ll priest who kissed the Koran. So I don’t put much of anything into what he said. And abortion is MURDER. I don’t need a priest to explain that.

@@suetrublu Jesus didn’t say anything at all about abortion actually. But he did say that anyone who harmed a child, would be like having a millstone tied around his neck. So I’m assuming he meant ALL children, in any stage of development.
